In the war torn world of Arathi, a battle waged between the humans, elves, and demons. The elven king had grown sickly, and was unable to find the strength to stand. Knowing that the elves were without their king, the demons attacked in great numbers. As the onslaught of demons approached the elven castle walls, the elves sent a message pleading for help from the humans, but the message arrived late and the elves were left defenseless. The demons slaughtered all but a few groups of men and women who had run away.
The demons began fortifying the castle they had taken and prepared to besiege the humans. Knowing their demise was imminent the humans fled during the night and spread out along the mountain tops. The demons stormed the castle days later to find it unoccupied. They scattered their forces between the human and elven castles.
Years later the demons had expanding their castles into large strongholds that expanded over a large portion of the land. The humans had been living in the mountains plotting their attack, and the elves were thought to have died out.
What will become of the two races forced into the outskirts of the land by the demons. Who will survive and claim the land as their own. The fate of the realm is in your hands.

Character name: Gregory Anselm
Age:15
Race: elf
appearance: Gregory is tall and well toned. His bright blue eyes seem as if they see into your soul, and his spike blonde hair give him a rebelious look. His face has a scar across the right cheek where a demon's spear cut him in the battle.
Bio: Gregory was orphaned as a young child and adopted by a knight. Time passed and he became a top ranked squire. On his 14th birthday he was knighted and served the king. In the battle against the demons he was scarred horribly just days before his 15th birthday. He now is living in a cave in a nearby mountain with several other survivors.
Other: Gregory is a proud knight, even after the fall of the castle, he carries his sword strapped to his waist and his shield across his back showing the kings crest.

Character name: Roland Deschain ((Dess shane))
Age: 15
Race: human
Appearance: Roland has grey-blue eyes that some of the Gileadians call "bombarder's eyes." He has tangly unkempt brown hair and very little stubble on his chin. He constantly wears a hat with a crushed top, which makes him look almost comical, in order to throw off his true appearance.
Bio: Roland of the Gilead mountains has been sent east in order to speak with the other tribal leaders on his father- the king of Gilead's wish. On his quest, he is to compare and contrast attack plans for the infiltration of the demon army. At his sides are Cuthbert Allgood, a childhood friend, and Alain Johns a fellow student under the eye of Cort. They have been proven worthy of the task set out before them, even though they are not a day older than Roland themselves.
Other: Roland is an archer by nature, carrying his bow and quiver of arrows on his back at all times, aside from formal settings.

Character name: Cuthbert "Bert" Allgood
Race: human
Appearance: Cuthbert is red-headed with bright green eyes. He carries the skull of a falcon on a string as a charm of sorts. There is seldom an occasion when he doesn't smile.
Bio: Cuthbert Allgood has been sent east in order to aid Roland with the other tribal leaders on the king of Gilead's wish. He is a childhood friend of Roland, as he claims, ever since the cradle, and a fellow student of Alain Johns under the eye of Cort. They have been proven worthy of the task set out before them, even though they are not a day older than Roland themselves.
Other: Cuthbert is the trickster of ther group, always carrying the skull of a falcon on a string. He carries a slingshot and a bag full of ball-bearings in his back right pocket.

Character name: Alain "Al" John's
Race: human
Appearance: Alain is "baby faced" as Cuthbert will say on more than one occasion. He has dirty blonde hair and speaks rarely. He is very stoic and keeps to himself.
Bio: Alain John's has been sent east in order to aid Roland with the other tribal leaders on the king of Gilead's wish. He is a fellow student with Roland and Cuthbert under the eye of Cort. They have been proven worthy of the task set out before them, even though they are not a day older than Roland themselves.
Other: Alain is the brute of Roand's team, which Roland calls a Ka-tet, after their own fathers' group "Tet." He carries an elongated hunting knife in his back left pocket.
