I just realized how shitty of an artist I am compared to most people in my own guild.
What a charmed life.

You're a good artist, although compared to other good artists it might not be as great, but it doesn't change that you're a good artist. I guess it doesn't matter so long as what you do serves its purpose well.
Also you inspire/help other people to be good artists, which is pretty awesome too. domokun

Well now you know how I feel. I am trying realy hard to make stuff that doesn't suck even. But when I check out my stuff and, and check out anyone elses. I start to think. WHY DO I SUCK SO MUCH!? I DRAW WAY MORE THEN THESE PEOPLE!
Seriously. You are a better artist then me, and I go through about 50 sheets of paper a day.

What are you using as a point of comparison, though? Because everything is relative to how you look at it.
For example, compared to most people who draw, I am actually pretty good; yet, in terms of coloring, originality, complexity and technique, I am floored by the ENTIRE GUILD. Which is another reason I have never requested membership.
But what I've seen you post, I always like. It feels fresh, interesting, DYNAMIC.

My mom always told me artists are never satisfied with their own work. Your art is inspiring to me. I come and look in tis guild about everyday and it gives me the motivation to keep arting. I personally think my art bites compared to everyone in the guild.

I think your art is awesome, if that's any consolation.

To each his own; or in this case, her own.
I personally think your is great; it's unique. You don't cling to the standards other idiots and bandwagon-hoppers employ. Sure, it may not be the most popular style out there, but that doesn't make it any less awe-worthy. *hugs*
As JapaneseVinyl said, "arists are never satisfied with their own work." If you're never satisfied, then you'll keep improving. Because the next time you pick up your pencil, you'll remember something that went wrong in the anatomy of the previous image that you didn't notice till after you finished. And then you'd get better.
Blegh. I sound like a counselor. @____@
