JK Rowling for Who?
News Dated: 8/7/2007
Could the world-famous author of the Harry Potter novels be headed to Doctor Who?
According to a recent ITV regional news interview with JK Rowling, she was asked if the rumours were true about being approached to write and episode of Doctor Who.
Rowling stated the reports were true, and that she was flattered, but at the time she was too busy writing the final Harry Potter book. She then went on to state that she may do one now that the Harry Potter books are finished.

Oh no! J.k. isn't a "outer space" writer she's a "What's happening now and imaginative stuff like what's happening now" writer. If she does do an episode I bet that it will be set in the passed.

I can't even imagine what that would be like. Do you think, since the Doctor is already a confirmed Potter fan, she'd slip in a few references? Anyway, that'll be one that'll go down in history. 3nodding

Well in the in the one ep. in the 3rd season they talked alot of about Haryy Potter. They used her words to seal the withches. Remember?

Yeah, they did.
I hope Rowling writes an episode- it will probably be really good! Especially if it's set in the past, like someone who posted above me said it should be.

Ooh...that might be interesting. Although, I swear everything's gone Potter-mania at the moment. I can't escape it! Even watching a Chinese movie, it mentioned Harry Potter about three times..

That would be so cool! I think know we'd all love it if she did an episode, not to mention the look on my dad's face when he sees the starting credits!!!!
And I think Doctor Who would suddenly become a bit more popular in the US. rofl
Oh, and yeah, it makes sense for her to do one set in the past, although I have no clue what as I wanna see the rest of Season 3 first.
And of course a few references would be cool! I think she'd have to be asked, probably, though since I think she'd be a bit too modest to do like what they wrote in for Shakespeare Code. 3nodding
It'd be really silly (I'm talking fanfic out of my ears here) to have them land in/near Hogwarts and end up saving the Boy Wonder himself. Especially if that included a certain Death Eater...... rofl rofl
