So yeah! I am a huge Stephenie Meyer fan *right after Pierce of course* and I figured that she deserves a spot here in the guild! She's written Twilight and New Moon along with various others. Her newest book, Eclipse, is to be released on August 7th I believe!

Great to see another fan thread in the forum. I haven't read any of Stephenie Meyer's books yet but I've herd good things about them and hope to get around to reading them soon. Are all her books about the same characters or are they stand alone stories?

I like New Moon and Twilight. Stephanie Meyer has the talent of creating incredible plots and yet making it so realistic that when you read it, you never doubt that it could happen. It's a wonderful talent.

The Terrible Trivium Great to see another fan thread in the forum. I haven't read any of Stephenie Meyer's books yet but I've herd good things about them and hope to get around to reading them soon. Are all her books about the same characters or are they stand alone stories? I've only read Twilight and New Moon thus far, so I couldn't say. Her plots are amazing though! I'm dying to read Eclipse! *waits patiently for august*

You definitely should. Especially because Eclipse is coming out this August I believe it is.

MY birthday is next Friday. Though the book won't be coming out by then, I'm sure I can get Eclipse when it does--if the rumors are true. I'll have to check out Meyers' site.. anyway, the Twilight/New Moon series rules. That's really the only romance I've ever read that I liked--but that may be because they're about things other than love... like vampires and werewolves and life-and-death situations. xD But the writing is beautiful, and it amazes me how accurately Stephenie described and visualized Forks, even though she hadn't actually been there until after the second book was well published. Hm... Ah, what a wonderful place.. I might even move there. Despite all of the rain, it's beautiful.

I. LOVE. these. Books.
No seriously, i started Twilight late Monday night and have already finished New Moon as well. Now Im rereading Twilight again. I was reading so intently through the night that wheni glanced up the clock said 6:30, i had to get up in an hour and a half to get ready for school, the only thing that made me stop reading was my dad waking up. Then throughout the day i couldnt sleep or anything because I needed to finish new Moon, so i didnt do any class work, I was reading the part were *SPOILER*
Bella and Edward get reunited i was crying in the middle of class. The whole day i was amazingly awake, surviving on the adrenaline of the book. Im sure i could have gone without sleeping a wink either.
My strange lack of being tired coupled with the fact that everytime i walked past a mirror i was even more pale than usual made me very hopeful that my wish of being a Vampire had actually come true, that reading the book had somehow changed me. sweatdrop lol
My favourite is without any doubt Edward, Im instantly drawn to the Vampires in any work of fiction. He is so loverly, so perfect. Jacob holds not a candle. I truly despise Jacob, even though "there is no competition." I cant help but feel his character is so slimy, hes trying to break up something that just should not be broken up, something so right, that meshes together so easily.

I adore Edward. They say there is going to be a movie about this but I just hope that they don't mess up Edward's look like they do on so many other movies.

HAS ANYONE GOTTEN ECLIPSE YET?!?!?!
it was delivered to my house on friday...like a month early then it was supposedly supposed to come out.
and I finished it and now my hands are shaking so much its hard to type.
I HATE CLIFFHANGERS!!
but I won't say anything yet...
but I might explode. seriously. with lots of flames. because I have no one to talk to about it yet.
AAAAHHHHHHHH! I can't wait another year crying

I've never heard of her, but I'll look for her books next time I head to the library. From what I've heard so far she sounds pretty good.

Twilight's a vampire novel for people who don't like vampire novels.
thats what meyer said at least
its a romance novel where a human girl falls for a vampire, one that doesn't drink human blood.
her blood is so tempting to him that he tries to stay away from her but in the end love wins out.
....something like that, I suck at synopsis's
