One of my new favorite things to do on this site. I've never gone fishing in real life, so this is as close as I'm going to get. I'm using the best bait (Grade A), so I actually stand a chance of catching a rare fish!

It can be pretty addicting at times. I didn't think I was going to like it too much, but then I started improving at it.

Upgrading your rod does wonders. Also, it's good to decide on a rod depending on where you typically lose your fish. If you lose them past the halfway point, go for the Strength Rod. If you lose them near the back of the lake, the Distance Rod is a good choice. If you lose fish at both of these points equally, get the Performance Rod. 3nodding

I got pretty nuts about fishing for a while and I got all three rods. Just for the heck of it. Maybe I'll get back into it and upgrade my rods.
Does anyone happen to know what upgrading the basic rod will do?

I would think it's like the others and make the red lines a bit further apart. I've owned all the rods except for the Basic Rod Plus, so I'm not really sure.

You mentioned that Grade A bait is the best. surprised Why wouldn't you use the others?

Because the others aren't as good and if you're trying to catch competitively, you'd have to keep switching between the three grades of bait to get the same effect as Grade A bait all the time. No, I'm only going to use them when I go for a Junk Trophy next month, since Grade F will get me more trash than fish.

my goal when gaia fishing came out was to get one of every regular fish hats. So no rares or trash. I have abuot 13 of em. neutral I dont fish much anymore. I like the jigsaws whee
