Cryptozoology is the study of "Cryptids" animals thought to be extinct, mythical, legendary, unknown, or unproven to exist by the standards of science. The Jersey Devil, Mothman Unicorns vampires Loveland Lizard big foot and the Chubacabra You'll find a lot of them on this particular list. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Cryptids this is a complete list, A-Z of names and descdiptions of all the Crytids so far. (or at least all the ones on wikipedia.)
So as you can see here, its a discussion about Cryptids. because I feel like I should be making more of a contribution here rather than asking for more subforums emo So allright everybody, go to town.

Unicorns huh? I dunno, I think they are mentioned in the bible but I'm not quite sure. I do believe in werewolves and vampires though, and I'm quite curious about Mothman, bigfoot, Lizardman, and el chupacabra.

Unicorns are mentioned in the Bible, although I'm afraid I have forgotten exactly where.
I heart Cryptozoology. I nearly pursued it as a career, but the Mothman deterred me too much. neutral

Since this is about Mythical would-be-creatures, I would like to direct your curiosity to a lesser-known one: the Spring Heeled Jack, and here is the wikipedia article for this charmer :3 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spring_Heeled_JackI am thinking I would love to cosplay as this fellow, er...for Halloween anyway, i don't know where conventions are at =/ People in the know have many theories...I just want to believe he was an Alien who, on visiting Earth, got his jollies by terrorizing Englanders ! C: HERE is my favourite happening: "Later, in October 1837, a girl by the name of Mary Stevens was walking to Lavender Hill, where she was working as a servant, after visiting her parents in Battersea. On her way through Clapham Common, according to her later statements, a strange figure leapt at her from a dark alley. After immobilising her with a tight grip of his arms, he began to kiss her face, while ripping her clothes and touching her flesh with his claws, which were, according to her deposition, "cold and clammy as those of a corpse". In panic, the girl screamed, making the attacker quickly flee from the scene. The commotion brought several residents who immediately launched a search for the aggressor, who could not be found." !!!!

As for unicorns ... Job 39:9-12: Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib? Canst thou bind the unicorn with band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee? Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him? Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn? Psalms 29:6: He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn. Numbers 24:8: ...he hath as it were the strength of a unicorn http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicorns
