I just read a fantastic book on the subject, and i was wondering if anybody had any comments, or any magickal gardens of their own?

I personally like to go hunting for my stuff. Yeah it would be nice to have it at hand, but there is also something very calming about walking in the woods and finding what you need yourself.
I value both ideas, and usually barter with someone else for what i need at the time. mrgreen

I do have a garden that I can pick off what I need for a ritual. I have a variety of herbs and flowers that otherwise would not grow in my yard. I started out with a small herb garden that included parsley, rosemary, sage, and thyme. That was...four or five years ago, and I've since added many more plants. My 'magickal' garden has taught me so many things too, like propogation of succulents and knowing what ails a plant when it's not well.

well, even indoors you could still have your tree circle; you could pot a whole lot of young trees and train them into bonsai.
I've been planting a lot more outside the past two years, and it's really looking nice. There are a a dozen butterflies that fly around in the evening sun every day, and I think it's because there are more flowers.

well, I try taming an already existing tree. There are so many in my back yard, I would never have the time to use them all.

I'm not training one right now, but they're mostly maples, elms, walnut, or oaks.
