Ok so my sister and I were looking around youtube and came to this emo elmo skit made by mad tv so we click on it and started watching it. First it was a little funny until I saw Emo elmo have a shirt with my chemical romance on it and my sister and I were like what the ********? I thought it was pretty funny.. minus the MCR shirt... also minus the cutting. mad tv should do some resarch before they make a statement about emo! "emos" are accually very happy people!1

Oh dear God in heaven, emo jokes get so overly redundant!
The MCR shirt was irrelevant. However, MAD tv weren't hesitant about reusing repetitive emo jokes (which just get so damned boring) that it's not surprising that Elmo was wearing a MCR shirt because MCR are also stereotyped as being emo.

on the internet. Like that CBS emo culture
report and they mention MCR.
It was sorta funny though. xD Not the
fact that they put an MCR shirt on him though.

Personally, as sick and tired I am of the emo thing, very recently I have come to the conclusion that anyone who labels someone emo by what they wear, music, hair, style, etc. are nothing more than ignorant freaks who just need to label people to feel better about themselves. Either that or they just take a trend and blow it way out of proportion to where it looks like a huge problem. And you know what? They aren't gonna stop so I very recently (like, two days ago recently) decided to let the whole emo thing go. It gets annoying, but hey, s**t happens and I am learning to deal with it. And that doesn't make me any less of a fan.

Second of all yeah it is kind of mean that they stereotype MCR as "emo" but they don't care so why should we? We like MCR just much as they like their 50 Cent or whatever they listen to so who cares?

gah...oh well. let them think what they want. it doesn't make me love MCR anyless. sterotyping is annoying though.
MCR is not emo, at all.
nothing we can do about it though. let them think what they want.
