What would, in your opinon, be the cost of freedom? Are we truly ever gonna be free?

i think the cost of freedom would be to change the government to a completely new standard and make it so cops have less power to do what they want. oh yea and plz check out my topic i am new to the guild and would like very much if i got some viewers only if u r not busy.

Well to tell the truth we are never ever really free. They say we may have the right to speak or say what we have to say. But some how we have to work to earn money to be able to surivie. How are we free from work? Well we are not free. We are not free to do what ever we want. No because if we do that wouldn't be right for those who aren't free. Then there would be a problem and oh...this freedom talk thing can go on for like ever....for me...@_@

*hear, hear* we have unintelligent people in the guild! Thanks for actually posting! well i think freedom is in the eyes of the beholder, some Iraqi's think they will never be free because of the Americans, some Americans think that if we leave they'll attack again, this conflict is limiting our freedom it gives them and excuse to take away our right of speech, to even get on a plane now. Big brother is always watching us too. but could you imagine this but everyone has a gun, everyone wants to kill you and your afraid that if you leave your house you'll give away your position and someone will drop a mortar round into your family. thats how the Iraqi's feel, and in a lot of other country's too. no one should feel that way. And if we really want to give them freedom then lets try to reverse these things. If you give people a responsibility they become more responsible. - rant over.
