That's right. In the spirit of movies that where turned into muscials that where THEN turned back into movie MUSICALS such as The Producers and Hairspray, Footloose will be the next to be added to the list. I first saw this and was like, "Okay! Cool! I love the music from Footloose the musical! That was one of the best shows I have ever been in! This should be fun!" And then... I found THIS article: http://www.playbill.com/news/article/109472.htmlAnd my reaction turned into, "Noooooooooooooooooooooo! GOD WHY?! Why must you kill another musical that I LOVE!" ...discuss.

Hugging the blade, waiting the years
[I clicked the link and a picture of you=know-who popped up. I yelled 'SATAN!' and closed the window. Ugh, WHY does he have to be in EVERYTHING?!! It's bad enough he was in Hairspray. I've never actually seen or heard Footloose, but I'm sorry. Dx *breaks his legs*]

Now, now, we haven't SEEN Hairspray yet, so we can't automatically badmouth him... except that he still looks like he is 12. And he was terrible in High School Musical (Actually, everyone was, but that's Disney-made-for-tv-movies).

Who cares. He's just loved by little kids everywhere. Some would argue he's good, I personally am at neither. He's like robotic singer in HSM and in Hairspray (which I havn't seen) apparently he actually did sing. I don't really care as long as he doesn't screw the whole movie up.

Oh god, no.
I read the post and went to click the link and was like "Imagine if Zac Efron was in this musical remake" and then his face popped up and I screamed, scared the crap out of my mom. Lmao.
But why ruin another musical remake with Zac? He's horrid!

I actually thought he was pretty good in Hairspray, because he gave Link nerdy levels, which was actually quite funny. Of course, not my favorite character of the whole movie, but still. I had such low expectations, but he met them for sure...
With that being said, he probably will RUIN this musical for me too. Especially if he has that High School Musical orange tan that's worse than those 80-year-old ladies in Florida. crying He needs to stick with Disney until his "boys" decend (if you know what I mean) crying

Okay. I will admit that Zac was not-so-great in HSM. But he was rather good in Hairspray. So he's really not all bad. But I will admit, He is NOT Ren. In any way, shape, or form.
