I think this would be a good book of the month because it is an amazing book. Stephenie wrote it very well and it's not your everyday vampire novel. I'm afraid if I say any more, I might give away the whole story.

Book: Beka Cooper, Terrier Author: Tamora Peirce Beka Cooper is training to be on the police force of Tortall's Capital, Corus. This force is known informally as the Dogs, and trainees are Puppies. Can she prove to her training Dogs that she is the toughest Puppy they've ever seen while trying to track down a sereal killer who kidnapps children for ransom?
This would be a good book of the Month because it is a good example of a great fantasy book? I dunno... lol

I'm going to suggest a book myself.
Title: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Author: J. K. Rowling It's the last Harry Potter book, I'm sure you all have a basic idea of what it's about.
Reason Why: I'm guessing everyone will be reading it in the next few weeks anyway and since it's new, it will be a fresh new book for everyone.

A suggestion for next month's book.
Title: Door to December, The Author: Dean Koontz What's it about: I'm gonna cheat here and put the original summary because its been awhile since I read it. Melanie was three when she was kidnapped. She was found when she was nine, covered in blood, wandering the streets of Los Angeles. Melanie, bearing a secret, she cannot bring herself to reveal it. Her mother and the police need her help in order to stop a series of killings. But what made her stop talking? And in her sleep, what is she whispering about? What is the Door to December? Why you think it would be a good book of the month: The book is very interesting and there are several things about it that I would love to discuss with others.

Next months book?
Title: First Test Author: Tamora Pierce Summary: This book is about a girl named Keladry, who wants to become a knight. The kingdom of Tortall is, for the first time, letting girls become knights, and Keladry is the first girl who signs up. But some people don't think that it is a good idea. She is put on probation by the training master, and if she doesn't do a good enough job, she will not be able to go on to her second year. Can she pass her probation, and take the first step in becoming a lady knight? Reason: This would be a good book because it talks about how girls can do things that guys can, and it is also an awesome fantasy book!

Title: Alex Rider: Stormbreaker Author: Anthony Horowitz What's it about: The first book in the Alex Rider series (consisting of Stormbreaker, Point Blanc, Skeleton Key, Eagle Strike, Scorpia, and Ark Angel), Stormbreaker beings the saga of the adventures of Alex Rider, fourteen-year-old orphan, Brit kid, and one of MI6's top secret agents. When Alex's guardian, his uncle Ian, dies in a "car crash," Alex is most agrieved, but knows somehow that his uncle's death was not an accident... thus proved by the abundance of bullet holes in the side of Ian's car. Alex is contacted by MI6, learning that his uncle was a spy, and was about to make a breakthrough in his latest assignment when he was killed. Alex agrees to take up the assignment where his uncle left off... but will his first mission be his last? Why you think it would be a good book of the month: The book sucks you in with the first sentence; it's an excellent series... Stormbreaker was made into a film as well. I think it would be a good book of the month because it's well-written and great fun to read; keeps you addicted, or at least it kept me so.
