In PSO, We went so far in e II. We went past the gal gryphon. then I accedentily turned off the GameCube and lost everything we did. crying (bad spelling) My cousin said he wasn't mad at me but just mad that we lost every thing. It made me feel bad. crying
We haven't ever been past the beach, jungle, or mountain. We finally made it past.
The doors opened. We went through as usual (usual, as in any other new place). We stopped at the boss and did a portal. Sold stuff and got ready. We fought the Gal Grypdon boss.(me, no KOs/sister, 3 KOs/ brother, 3/ cousin, 10 KOs) We went in the portal to pioneer 2 and my cousin had to go somewhere, but not now.
We went in the under ground water thing and went far. We came to the portal to the second level and then my cousin had to go now. He said "turn it off", and he left. I kept the GameCube on and turned of the TV. He finally came home and I told my sister to tell me cousin that the game was still on. She told him and I herd "Really!" in a surprised and happy voice. I went To the TV and GameCube and, I just didn't think, and turned the GameCube off.
I froze with my hand hovering above the GC, with the deed done. I sat on the bed behind me thinking, what was I thinking? everyone came in and I said that I accedentaly turned the GC off......
I wish I had never turned it off.

aww. I don't want to. it was tedeous. And I got new stuff and my mag was a higher level.

At least your character wasn't totally erased. Just most of a days worth of playing which isn't so bad in the long run. At least you weren't questing for some super-ultra-rare item and finally found it and then lost your data.
Episode II can be a blast.

That sucks, but Ive heard worse.
My friend, whom I got addicted to PSOI&II on GCN, has a memory card by Mad Catz, and also happened to get the game
Now there's a reason why I don't buy products not licensed by the systems company, in this case Nintendo, because later, when him and his 2 little brothers got to about lvl 120(each) and had a collection of all these rare weapons, his memory card became corrupted and all of its data with it. Not on purpose of course, it was just the memory card itself, so you would imagine how they felt, having their WHOLE game erased then just one run through of episode 2...

Ihh! I hate MadCatz. We got two contollers by them and one drains the GC of its power! the other doesn't feel vibration. We never bought MadCatz after that.

I courrpted like 3 or 4 times on PSO GC >.< Sucks big time. And sorry to hear about that. But hey, Long as your characters are ok.

And that is why I send extra rare weapons to characters on another memory card. That way if one dies I'll still hopefully have the weapon on another memory card even if the character is dead. At least that can be "easily" replaced unlike some weapons.

Yeah, at least I still have my characters.
I only have 5 memory cards. 2 black and 3 gray. I want a white one!! O_O
At least we know never to get MadCatz.
