So I know how Iaijutsu Focus works in formal duels, but how it works in normal combat is... somewhat more fuzzy.

I know that you make an iaijutsu focus check before attacking, and that you get extra damage to your attack. And also that it can only be performed on a flat-footed opponent.

The questions are twofold: What happens if you get multiple attacks - do all of them have the potential for Iaijutsu Focus Damage, do only some of them get extra damage, or does only the first one get extra damage?

Secondly, in the event that more than one attack gets extra damage, does one make a different iaijutsu focus roll for each attack, or just take the result of the initial check and apply it to each attack that receives extra damage?

I've been ruling that if you make a full attack, only the first attack receives extra damage, but that if you use the "One Strike, Two Cuts" ability granted by the Iaijutsu Master prestige class, then they both get extra damage, determined by the one single iaijutsu focus check made before the first attack.

Thoughts?

Nobody's familiar with Iaijutsu Focus?
The rules are in the "Skills" chapter of Oriental Adventures, if that helps.
