For the first time, the doors of the magic laboratory were open to the public. In a manner of speaking, anyway. There was a sign posted on the door of the class several days in advance, with the following message.
The first spellcasting laboratory workshop will take place on the second Wednesday in July. Students must have taken at least two classes in order to be eligible.
Raven took down the sign before entering her classroom. Finally, she'd be able to see what practical abilities her students posessed.

Alaqua was a bit nervous about this lab class. So far, all her magic classes had been practical, with only a few bits about actually doing magic. She just hoped that the teacher wouldn't be expecting too much of them this first time. The nervous girl arrived a bit early, her dragon in tow.
Bob was even more nervous than his bonded. Why? Because he was afraid she'd blow the whole lab up. Oh yes, he trusted her just about as far as he could throw her. Which, granted, was not very far at all. So the brass dragon checked for all exits upon entering the lab. Oh he had such faith in his bonded.

Keanu was bad at magic. There were two reasons for this. One, he hadn't been the most stellar student under the magic teachers. Two? He had a lot easier time with the whole element of being able to see what he was doing. Not the thinking, chanting, or whatever else people might suggest. Call it primitive, but being able to smack something was easier for him. Possibly because he'd been doing it his entire life, or maybe it was for other mental reasons. The fact was. Keanu was bad at magic.
He knew that, Ymir knew that, and likely he father knew that. Simply for the fact anytime he wanted to practice he failed miserably. Which explained why the teen was on his way to class at the moment, the hybrid walking along easily beside him.
Practice was important, and what better place to practice, with someone who knew what they were doing, than spellcasting workshop with a teacher. Even if he was quite sure she was a bit evil the way she snapped at students. Then again, Thomas wasn't the best either. He'd scared Princess Earako. He just wasn't on great terms with the magic teachers. Not that he had much of a choice on the whole matter.
Ymir yawned slightly as his monochrome partner opened the door and stepped in, holding the door as the dragon shuffled in after. There wasn't too much threat. Even if Keanu managed something it couldn't be that destructive, and the teacher would stop it if it was. That's why she was here. So it wasn't exactly faith that let the dragon be at ease. Or... it was. Faith that Keanu would be as useless magicall as usual. And that a teacher could handle it.
With that in mind the pair arrived shortly after the koala. Well, at least they weren't too late. Although, neither of the pair was eager to speak up around Raven. They both were silently aware the woman wasn't thrilled with them from the last class. Well, if she remembered anyway.
