Cross your fingers and hope you get a bunch of Ink off of the Daily Chance. They go for about 200-500 a pop on the Marketplace, so you can make lots of Gold that way. Poll "whoring" is fun and easy too.

Voting in the Arena's and Posting can get you over five hundred a day add an insane Puzzle like Soel-Larg said you can earn plenty in a month you just have to earn one thousand a day and your set >.<

I know the feeling. I use the marketplace to earn gold, too.. play games, sell tickets at 2.5 g per ticket.
