In my opinion the best anime ever!
The ending was sad.

Yeah the anime was great! I haven't read the manga but I really want to! I agree though I didn't like the ending ether.

Hmm.. I haven't seen the anime, but I've read the manga until chapter 50 or so. And so i don't know how it ended but... all your guy's comments are making it tempting for me to finish reading. O_O

I haven't seen the anime yet but I'm up to the 11th manga only one more left for me to read crying If it's anything like the live action movie's ending then yes I didn't like it gonk But it's an awesome series 3nodding My fav shonen so far.

Opinion, though: I think the movie must end different than the books for people to complain about it - I liked the manga ending (mostly). But there's a Vol. 13 coming out, too. Profiles and extra comics and stuff. ^^

I am hooked on Death Note fo real. I use it to tell scary stories to my little cousins their scared reactions are hilarious! Anyways love the manga need to see anime.

Heh, I'm appalled at the fact that I wouldn't know it was on TV normally, except I checked a thread I never check and someone was spazzing out over it. (If you aren't already watching it on TV: Cartoon Network, midnight on Saturdays.)
