I always liked Big B. I liked him in Aankhen, Eklavya & Ek Ajnabee. The movies are good too - if you haven't watched them, I recommend those. My new passion when i'm bored, (not bollywood wink ) is to play this game called hey taxi on shockwave. It is the indian auto rickshaw on indian streets - try it out - it's a lot of fun! http://www.shockwave.com/gamelanding/heytaxi.jsp

FYI, I changed the title of the forum so it reflects what's actually being discussed here.
I got into Bollywood through a close friend of mine, Shari. She had gon on a Bollywood kick and suggested DDLJ for all of us to see. My sister, Liz, got it from Netflix. She saw thirty minutes of it and went to sleep. D:
Well, it was spring break two years ago and I was bored out of my mind. I was an idiot and decided to pop the DVD in (after much persistance on Shari's part) at, like, eleven at night.
I absolutely loved it, but I couldn't watch the last forty-five minutes because I was so exhausted. I woke up at around nine thirty the next morning and finished it and I've been an addict ever since. wink

I got into Bollywood after seeing Dhoom 2. My sister had rented it from Blockbuster when she saw that Aishwarya Rai was in it. At first I had only saw the video Dhoom Again. After I watched the movie I have fallen in love with Bollywood ever since.

I've been watching it ever since I started doing anything really. I grew up watching mega old black and white bollywood moives and I remember being fascinated by the 'secret layers' the villains always had... Heh, and I remember Shahrukh when he had just started out and his movie Badshah where he had so many secret gadgets that I was intrigued beyond anything by him.

Well, since I never knew what Bollywood was until my Indian friend Mayya moved here from New York, probably I got into it around the summer before freshman year at high school. The first movie she ever showed me was Partner, which was so refreshingly different and funny compared to the British dramas I watched all the time, I immediately fell in love. I now have shamefully only seen Partner, Om Shanti Om, Jab we Met, and Bunty aur Babli, but I have seen many scenes and songs from other movies. It's just a huge passion for me. ^_^

You sould watch Main Hoon Naa, (it is the only movie I can think of right now other than Jodhaa Akbar and Fanaa which I love with a passion) everyone I met who watched it loved it.
