Mysterious Reality now has a weekly contest!
This contest can be extremely easy or extremely difficult,
it depends on how sharp an eye you have ^_^

All you have to do is try to figure out if the picture of the week is fake or real. You'll see pictures from websites that are either considered real, or proven fake.
You get to guess whether the picture is real or fake, and the first couple people who get it right gets a small prize.

Each week, the contest will be posted in my ( Horror Story Guild Mule ) new journal.

Hokay, since the weekly contest is supposebly, too easy, mikiseiya has suggested that we have 2 pictures, instead of the one.

THis week's entry was Real!

My name is Abbe Vance-Appel and I reside in Cornwall, Ontario. I sent some photos yesterday but have since taken some more. The first one was taken on March 31st, 207, and you will notice something of interest in the window behind my daughter and myself. This is our backyard and that is our neighbor's window. My husband took the photo and a friend commented on it two days ago. I sent my husband out last night and he took several photos of the same window, and in one you can see a face again, this time peering out around the blinds. I'm not sure what to make of it.

Both the picture and the comments in Red has been taken from Ghost Study.

This week's contest entry was REAL biggrin


Debbie writes, "This is a picture I captured from her webcam during the seasonal holidays at Asyaret's home in California. She had some family over and no one else was in the living room at the time I caught this black shadow except her husband that I was talking to on the computer and their son which I have dotted out. You can see completely through it and there also seems to be a black glare surrounding it. By the next refresh it was completely gone."

Dark Angel's comments:
Jim and I have personally conducted an investigation inside of this home, and it is most certainly haunted. There seems to be no apparent object that would cause this image to appear, and indeed it appears to be more like the image of a person who is hunched over, looking around at the tv screen. Very nice capture!

Heres the evidence to prove it.

Willard Dough Boy appears!
Leah writes, "The attached photos are from the Willard Library cam. I was watching it and all of a sudden I see this big brown colored fat thing and it seems to be standing through the table, and it can't be a person since people are not all one color and people don't stand through tables, and this thing has no facial features at all. In the second frame a minute later I see what appears to be a group of three ghosts, and it looks to me like two adult figures and one child like figures that are all gray in color. Pretty weird, and I've also send along with the originals a cropped version of each. What could it be!?"



Jim's Comments:
This is one of the most unusual cam shots we've seen from the Willard library in a while. Besides being one color tone, he does look like he starting to walk through the table as suggested by Leah. And just for fun, is that a sacrificial maiden laying across the table in front of him??

This is a white line that I drew on both sides of these tombstones with the use of an art program. I then added a glow around the line for the effect.
