Is their a digimon you want to get but you want everyone to know you want it?

Or how about a Cosplay, and you don't want anyone to take it from you?

Well this is the forum for you. Here you can make a post and let us all know what you are planning to get. A breeding, a growth, a custom, CUSTOM LA, a cosplay... or one of those rare, hard to get digimon, you can list it all here as well.

If you are questing for a Cosplay that is going to be used at a later date, one of the staff will let you know. Do not complain if you get this message, it makes life easier for everyone.

Do not be rude! This includes questing for something just because someone else is.

If your questing for a cosplay, also note this does not garuntee that you will get it. If someone else has the gold and they want it, but your quest has not increased in gold in a while, or you abandon your goal, or you have been questing for an ungodly amount of time, we may take the person that can pay now. Again, do not complain, an easy life makes happy Mods. Happy Mods make happy customers <3

In the end, Staff have the right to sell something to someone even if you are questing, but Staff are asked to keep an eye out here before they start a major order to make sure someone's heart is not set upon it. <3

Djnn has the ultimate authority over what you can and cannot get a cosplay of. Even if your cosplay isn't already on the "reserved" list for events, it still will have to under go approval.

Do not whine to, or pressure staff members to produce the cosplay for you. No one likes getting a whiny message about several hundred cosplays someone wants for 100k. Be realistic, and understand that NO staff member HAS to do your cosplay for you, if you pick a cluttered and difficult character then a equally difficult and cluttered digimon to use as it's base, don't be surprised if no one ever offers to do it.

Quality over Quantity

Do you really want something rare? Maybe you'd like a custom line, or a cosplay right? Well, we don't have a set limit to how many quests you can have running at once BUT someone who works hard to reach one or two quests is more likely to receive assistance from staff members. Serious questers are also more likely to receive donations from outside sources towards there cause. So instead of questing for EVERY member of the show Gargoyles, as an example, try to instead only quest for your favorite one.

Keep Track of Your Status

This helps show people that you are indeed serious. And the more serious you are the more help you will be likely to receive. A handy tool would be the tektek.org quest bar.

Be Realistic

If your quest is to get 1,000,000 digimon or 500 of a specific type of digimon, then you'll be on that quest forever. Since no colorist would want to sit through coloring that many of one kind, and also because we monitor digimon populations in order to prevent future population bursts of digimon. (Right now were trying to fix that issue with our Gatomons and Renamons)

Presenting a Cosplay Quest

This may seem silly, but you'd be surprised how many people ask for stuff without providing information. If your going to quest for a cosplay, keep in mind this doesn't automatically claim it for you! But if your willing and ready here are some things that help:

1) Is the character/creature/whatever I want a cosplay of unGodly ugly, cluttered or extremely intricate?

If the answer is yes, please consider how much you really want it, and be ready to have to pay an extra amount if you decide to order it.

2) Pick a digimon ahead of time. It really helps, and try to pick one that looks "doable" as a cosplay. For example, MaloMyotismon would be a HORRIBLE digimon to do cosplay edits on. It's complex, bulky, anatomically vomit inducing.... or maybe you want a Sephiroth cosplay (which is taken sorry) don't pick something that doesn't suite the character.
For example, Sephiroth done as a gatomon, or an angemon. There are tons of digimon that would be better suited, like Lucemon Falldown mode, or Ravemon.

3) Keep rank in mind. Sure rookies are cute and megas are buff, but make sure you pick a rank that fits the character you want done. If your going to do Ash from Pokemon, then anything over champion would seem stupid.. actually rookie would probably be best for him. Then again a more powerful character like Magneto would require a higher rank, Champion at the absolute lowest.

4) Provide links to character information, and the show/movie/book/band they are from. Not everyone knows of so or so. So providing information can be a very handy aide.

5) Provide images!!! Especially if the character you want has a very common name, like Sakura, or if the character has several different outfits. This way we know what outfit you want!!
