Has anyone read this book?
And if so, what did you think of it?
I'm currently reading it, so I can't really give you my opinion, but it's good.

i started reading..didn't get very far in.. not that is wasn't good i just endeed up reading something else instead, but i heard it was way differnt then the movie

It's definitely not way different than the movie. The movie was actually basically on. It just went more into the romantic aspect of the book, which was actually really important.
I thought it was a good book though. Definitely one of my favorites. I recommend it. =]

Just keep reading Emma, I promise you won't be disappointed.
Aside from a few minor facts (i.e. the ending *SP* instead of trying to impress a Japanese general, in the movie she has to impress an American general and her "trick" never gets farther than groping) and some unimportant things that were left out because of time, the movie and the book are pretty similar, although the movie is more involved in the romantic side of things and the book is a little more detached.
