I remember when Ash came out. I am that old school on the Diru track. Although I don't listen to them so much any more. My favorite will probably always be the Myaku 8 1/2 convert....mix...thing. Because nothing about that song isn't amazing.
Including how much it isn't really a song.

DIR EN GREY!!! I heart them so much!!! They have some pretty extreme songs like obscure or child prey, but they're awesome! I wonder if anyone has heard of Gazette. I just discovered them, and I am convinced that they are just as kick a**!

Woo! I love JRock. I only started really listening to it this year after my friend introduced me to it. ^-^
I haven't listened to much of Dir en grey because i can't really find any of their music, but from what I had they sound really interesting. :]
The only songs I was able to find were 'Ain't Afraid to Die', 'Child Prey', 'Deity', 'Mask' and ' The Final'.

I was on a concert of Tool this summer and Dir En Grey were their support. My first thought was that they're funny. wink
The bass player is hilarious, he acts like he was a god or something.
But overall, I think I liked their performance.

Favorite Dir en Grey song so far is Yokan, but of course I have to find a way to get into the Japanese iTunes to get it. -_-
Haven't heard a ton of J-rock yet, but I like some of L'arc, Miyavi, Dir en Grey, AKFG, and Psycho le Cemu.

Yes jrock!!!! my favorite band right now is nightmare!! and dir en grey is awesome too i love their song the final and child prey!! and i also love the pillows,asian kung fu generation,kaggra,L'arc, and many many more!!! haha but yea i heart JROCK!!
