So I was wondering around on Wikipedia and came about to "Naruto Shippuuden:The movie"
When it comes out on subs, anyone going to watch it? I am. Hell I'll watch it in japanese if I can find it.
It's supposed to come out on August 4,2007.
D: Everyone keeps saying Naruto's going to die.
Can't say I doubt it, and can't say I believe it. =|
It might mark the end of the anime.
Like what they did with Full Metal Alchemist.
Didn't want to keep up with the manga so they threw in an alternate ending in a movie.

Yeah, I heard about it way back in the beginning of the year when Shippuuden came out.
I can say Naruto isn't going to die. The anime tries to follow closely to the manga, so why would they suddenly jump off track now? And if you're worried he might die in the manga. How would that happen? With august less then a month away, do you honestly think Kishimoto would kill of Naruto in just a few weeks? There's no way he could die, unless a rock suddenly fell on him. ( R.I.P. Obito crying )
Even if he did, the manga has a long way to go still. He wouldn't kill Naruto off so early. I mean, what is he gonna do? Change it to 'Sasuke'? ( Though it has been looking alot like that recently. xD; )
Another thing I could point out, is this is before they meet Sasuke. Or right after they meet him. Something like that.
The point is, if they're trying to follow the manga, yet kill Naruto, and bad time to do it is when Naruto's supposed to appear again in future episodes.
So, unless this is some freaky dream-like movie, or the wanted to do some creepy alternate ending ( Before the series ends, wtf? ), then no. Naruto's not gonna die. Dissapear for awhile to make it look like he's dead? Most likely. ^^
And, yes. I do want to see it. I love watching the Naruto movies. I don't care what anyone else says, I love them all~ <3 smile ( Though the first is still my favourite )

Watching it, of course! The animation on the trailers is INCREDIBLE.
And I don't think Naruto's going to die <<; The anime and manga has so much going for it. I don't think it'll trail off.
If anything, his "death" is some sort of plot twist.
Its like in the last Harry Potter book << JK Rowling said the last two words are "Harry's funeral." Doesn't mean he's gonna die 8D; That doesn't really relate, but meh.

I'll watch it for sure =]
but they can't kill off Naruto, for the reasons above my post.
They could make it look like they killed him,
like in the trailer, with Sakura over his grave with his headband, maybe they couldn't find his body & they THINK he's dead.
It shall be quite the interesting movie
&it comes out in august?..shweet blaugh

Have you guys seen the trailer? Sakura's scream at the very end was freakin' AWESOME. It was so heartbreaking and real - kudos to Nakamura Chie-san. She's an awesome seiyuu, for Sakura at least.
I doubt Naruto's going to die. I'm certain that it's just Naruto disappearing into some other dimension for a time. But I can't wait till it comes out next year. I'm so excited to watch it.

At this point in time, I can honestly say I'm more interested in the song playing in the most recent trailer, than the movie itself. D:
Seriously. Naruto's going to die, everyone's going to be sad for a little while, but then he's going to get brought back to life by this girl, from what I've heard.
How exciting..

Wow. Weren't we fooled.
That wasn't Sakura that screamed Naruto's name. It was the Hinata-look-a-like.
And from what I heard.. :/ I have no interest whatsoever to see this movie.

I'm disappointed that it wasn't Sakura. Lord knows it SHOULD have been her with her being Naruto sister-like person and all. Sheesh.
Edit: I just noticed something. There's all 9 Akatsuki members there, even though Dei-chan died. Along with Hidan and Kazuka. I wonder who joined, or if they were actually dead in the first place...
