i dont get it you know, if it is the 1st time the human race encountered the covenant why do the spartans have new suit and brs ? thats what im wondering

it's suppose to tell the story of what happens before the events of Combat Evolved, from when Humans first encountered the Covenant to the creation of the Spartan II project all the way to when the Pillar of Autumn reaches Installation 04

The game is realy fun, I like the graphics, the gameplay is easy, I adapted easily to the changes and I'm sure yu guys will to.
