lamb of god and hatebreed are really intesne live but a lot of it also depends on the audience... whenever ive see either of those bands the crowd goes apeshit... its really fun

I don't know, a lot of bands I used to like, mainly metalcore, I don't really enjoy any more. I discovered a lot of other bands from different subgenres that I think are much more impressive. I actually went to a Hatebreed concert up at UVM last year, simply because we have no metal scene, and I was craving a metal show. They actually exceeded my expectations. I don't think I'd see them again though.

I guess i really liked their live show because i love pits so much and i ended up dislocating my elbow or something in the pit and popping it back in.. it was the closest thing to a warzone i've ever been in... but I know what you mean, a whole lot of the stuff we used to listen to i don't really find myself listening to as often. i was just busting your balls mrgreen

Lamb of God would be fun to see live.... if it were 3 years ago. Nowadays they will only play newer material and then MAYBE an old song or two. Their early material isn't bad metalcore at all, and it's really fun. Their first album even features a few grindcore vocalists as guests, and it's definitly my favorite album from them.
Hatebreed get on my nerves. Those vocals make me cringe, and vocals can ruin the music for me. gonk The music is also incredibly boring and your typical "chugga chugga" hardcore. Comparable to Chimaira's first release. Gross.
Behemoth is probably the best band on that list, as they play a variety of songs. My only problem is that I don't particularly care for 98% of their death/black, so I wouldn't find myself having an enjoyable time.
I agree with Jenna, though. Do tell.

i saw lamb of god when ashes of the wake had just been released so they played songs from their first 3 albums(not including them as burn the priest) and they still did the massive wall of death to "black label". If you want to see the video it's on the ozzfest site.. and here. Once they dub over the audio they use "laid to rest" instead of "black label" but you get the idea... i was in that first one that they show... the dickhead who was walking around in the middle like he thought his s**t didn't stink got ******** crucified.
