The Weekly Challenge
These contests are for fun, practice, etc. Winning isn't important, it's just that little extra encouragement for people to join.
The weekly challenge is a themed weekly challenge. On Sunday, a new theme will be announced. Your goal, if you choose to accept is to draw something related to the current theme. On Sunday, all the entries will be voted on to see which one is the favourite and a new theme will be announced!
Whether you do a sketch or a full blow painted masterpiece, is really up to you! These contests are about practicing and getting inspiration, it's up to you how much you wish to do.
Prizes for the Weekly Challenge will be posted on the challenge thread, as they change every week.
Entries will not be accepted passed SUNDAY at 8 PM central for prizes. If you manage to post before I put the poll up, I'll accept the entry--- but don't count on this method. Sometimes I'm late, sometimes I'm on time.
You can always enter past weeklies to get practice in, though.Quote: I have changed the contests to the best use of the theme (previously favourite entry). rofl starshine, If would've continued a food theme, I would've done bananas. I didn't do it because I was afraid of people yelling at me for lack of variety xd . But I'm gonna do it now cause it was suggested mwuhahaha, probably after flowers though~

you could use elements like water, wind, fire, etc etc.
or a think it'd be really fun if we had a generic theme
what else...... school, time, a specific month or day of the week
keys and locks, technology, mechanical things/mecha,
a decade in history, different emotions like happy, annoyed, pondering, etc.
hearts, stars, moon, seasons,
the seven sins: envy, gluttony, lust, wrath, sloth, pride, and greed
distracted, alert, playground, popsicle, trees, powerlines, fruit,
etc. etc. etc.
hooray for ideas :3
