Name: Torchwood "Torchie" Lastnameunknown Age: toddler Species: Frickin' Timelord Torchwood is in ways a ridiculous handful, and in others, a deceptively easy baby. He's ridiculously kind, and fairly even tempered. He likes everyone, which is kind of a blessing and a curse. He loves strangers, especially, and takes to them just as well as his guardian. Coupled with his innate and insatiable curiosity, this spells trouble with a capital T (that rhymes with P that stands for pool!) whenever Raife's in any crowded public area. That said, however, it's kind of hard to tell whether he really bonds deeply with anybody above others. He's the type to have a lot of good friends, but not really any great ones. The rare moments where he's calm are where he really shines, however. He seems to have kind of an "old soul." And in odd moments, will show wisdom behind his meager years. It's hard to keep him focused on any one thing however, and he hates to be forced into things. He prefers to go his own way. Independent, stubborn. Powerwise, it's hard to tell what he can or can't do at this stage, being, well, a baby. He's got the signature two-hearts of a time-lord, and he came out of the cabbage with some ridiculously complicated zappy doohickey, but Raife's got that locked up in a chest for right now.

While Raife may not be wiser (or seemingly older) than when he first moved to Gaia, he's settled down a lot, and he's certainly a lot wearier. Torchwood is his fourth adopted kid (all boys!), but it doesn't make it any easier, it seems.
He's generally a kind and patient sort, to a fault, as he's more likely to let the kids run wild, naked in the yard, before reining them in in any way. This sort of passivity is a result of his dealings with Mikhael, his first charge. After that (continuing!) stress, everything else seems fairly negotiable.
He's a genderbender, switching at whim between male and female, but, while their personalities are a little different (female Raife seems to be sharper than male Raife), their general histories are the same, and they ARE the same person.
His past life remains largely a mystery.
It's been a year or two since the ranch house has had the pitter patter of tiny feet echoing through its rambling halls, but it's no less the forgiving, just like Raife.

Family Head of house, Raife is often absent minded, but fairly goodhearted. He does what he can for his family, and, seeing as he's the sole support, that's a lot.  Shiftless, kind and good with kids, Trance is an ersatz babysitter, when he's not drifting and causing trouble. Everyone somehow loves him. Except Lana. Guardian of Connor. He's not around as much anymore, and is trying to raise the boy in his own apartment.  Declan is in his late childhood, and probably the most prominent young presence in the house. That said, he keeps to himself mostly, and is not much for human interaction. He appreciates his young brother's sense of curiosity and innate intelligence, however, but finds him mostly a bit of an oddity.  Sweet and friendly, nobody dislikes Connor. He's a little thick headed sometimes, but young enough to make it work. Wherever Trance goes, Con goes, so we see him around occasionally. Mikhael, Raife's oldest child, is currently not in residence.

The concept of the Cabbage Patch shop and Torchie's art belongs to Em. Don't steal it. This particular concept is very obviously adapted from Doctor Who. All other art in the thread belongs to each respective artist.
3: Breeding and Sale
The answer is no. No, I will not sell him. No you cannot have his babies. He's a baby himself, for chrissake.
4: Other
These rules are subject to change and grow or shrink at any time if I feel the need.
