Valens was following along after his father who was cursing under his breath about children and how they didn't take care of their things nearly as well as they should! The horse boy's cheeks were rather flushed but for the most part hidden by the dark colored hair that he had, the only place it showed was the white on his forehead and nose, "I am sorry I just..."
"I know, I've heard it several times already what you have 'just' done." LaVey said looking over his shoulder at his son. He wished that Lamiah could have taken him here. He didn't see the point in getting Valens yet another controller for his games since he kept breaking them! They should get him things that were more durable, maybe a ball or a bat... or weights things that boys were supposed to play with.
"I..." Valens shook his head and gave up, his father was harder to deal with then his mother, "I can get it if you wanna take a smoke break?" He suggested, he knew that such a thing helped at times to mellow out his father. Yes he knew smoking was bad for you according to his mother but at the same time when it came to his father he was quite certain the man needed them... Or who knew what would happen.
LaVey nodded, "You have a good plan." He said then handed off some money, "Get what you need I will be outside." He didn't like the mall it was to crowded with far to many people.
Valens gave a sigh of relief then hurried into the store his hooves clip-clopping as he entered.

Emer knelt down taking Kale by the shoulders and looking at him very carefully making sure her son was paying attion before she started talking. She had begun to notice that he liked to let his mind drift from time to time. "Just go to the video game store, I'll be there in a little bit. There a couple of things I have to get first. And behave."
Kale nodded, his mohawk bobbing with the head movment. Eagerly taking the cash his Mom offered him. "You know I am always good." He smiled brightly before turning and running off, barely dodgeing people as he weaved in and out of the crowed.
Almost to the store, his eyes locked on the newst fighting game he didn't see the other boy heading into the store, this time running into him. Their bodies colliding the momentume of both of them heading into the store sending them down to the ground. Kale quickly got to his feet, his eyes huge. "Oh man! I am so sorry, you okay?" He held out his hands to help the other boy up.

Valens was starring at a large, cardboard cut out of what was called a 'blood elf' and tilted his head to the side, how did that armor really protect them he thought to himself... not that he minded. In fact the less armor the better if you asked him or no doubt many other male gamers, "Want that game." He said, though it looked to be an online thing which meant he had to ask his parents... which meant he would ask his mother.
He took a step towards the store, if nothing else he would ask if the cut out was for sale... then suddenly he was seeing stars and was landing at the feet of the 2D elf he had been admiring, "Huh... wha?" He looked around, then up, up, up at the boy that was standing in front of him appoligizing.
Valens was wide eyed, woah... he'd never been tackled before and knocked over. That was kinda cool! He took the kids hand and then pushed up to his feet, "Eh, I'm good I've gotten worse believe me." He was all for physical activities, running, jumping, climbing trees and then diving out of them. The condition of his clothing spoke of such in the way they were grass stained and rather torn up.

Kale lauged letting his hands dropped as he looked up at the taller older boy. His face blushed a little embarssed, rubbing the back of his head. "Sorry about talking you.... My name is Kale. My mom would kill me if she found out I wasn't paying attion to where I was going again and just ran into sombody. I have a bad habit of doing that. Though normmaly I run into stuff, like pillers, walls, and doors. This is the first time I actully can into a person."

Valens couldn't help but laugh a bit, "I wasn't paying much either. I mean why pay attention to ones surroundings when they can pay attention to that?" He pointed over at the Blood Elf cut out, surely Kale would understand why the horse was spacing off right? He was a guy and looked to be about his own age from the look and size of him.

Kale looked up at the female blood elf and smiled and nodded, "Oh yeah, the new expansion is awsome! All the new areas and you can finally be a paladin in the hord, that is really cool. I love that game!" He grinned, not yet old enough to really notice the attaraction of the drawing itself.

Valens tilted his head to the side, "And you couldn't be a paladin with the Horde before?" He asked, he'd never played the game so he didn't know if that something significant or not.
He looked over at Kale, "Heading into the game store too?" He asked, sounding hopeful.
Kale seemed to know a lot about the games and tackled him in front of the place so maybe it was where he was going too? Would be neat then he could keep talking with him. The more he knew about the game the more likely he could talk his mother into it.

"Oh, no way, and you couldn't be a shawmen if you where allaince either." He nodded and started to head into the store. "Yeah, there are a bunch of new games I want to look at. Man it is an awsome game, though Mom won't let me paly it as much as I want. She says I have to get fresh air once and awhile too. Though she isn't being fair, she is always on her computer.... though she says it's for work.." Kale pouted a little sticking out his tounge in disgust at the injusictes of it all. "What are you getting?"

Valens started to get that much more curious, wondering what Paladin, Shaman, Horde, and Alliance all were, "Me? Ahh... hahahaha... I am here for another controller. I play a lot of games with either startle factor, or button mashing." He started to explain as he followed Kale inside, "At the same time I am... a bit stronger then normal kids so on occasion... CRUNCH!"
He made squishing motions with his hands, "It's not that I mean to but when one was playing RE in the dark and suddenly you get back attacked by zombies... well you have a miny heart attack!"

Kale's eyes where huge as the large kid described how he would mutilate controllers. The he really looked at the kid and shook his head and chuckled. " I could so see that. You need something made out of something stronger then plastic.... but they don't make anything made out of something stronger then metal. I wonder if I could make something for you....." His brain started to move quickly as he started to figure out how to do it.
"Kale..... did you get your game yet? Oh hey. You make a new friend Kale?" Emer slowly walked up, her sleeves shirt showing the tattoo on her arm and her many percings glittering in the artificial light.
Kale nodded, "Hey Mom, no not yet, I started to talk to Valens. Valens this is my mom."

Valens listened in interest to what Kale described, the idea of a metal controller did sound nice. He bet it would stand up to his abusing it a lot longer then the plastic ones did that was for sure, "That would be so cool!" He said, tail swishing back and forth behind him.
The horse turned at the new voice, a woman's voice and for a moment starred with wide eyes. Woah, he thought to himself, hot mom! He then smiled brightly if a bit dumbly, "Hehe... Hello there Kale's Mom." He greeted her.

Emer laughed holding her hand out to shake Valens. "Hey, you can call me Emer."
Kale grinned,as he found the game he had been wanting. "Hey Mom, can I have Valens come over? He says he keeps breaking his controllers, and his hands are so strong the plastic just crumbles..... I wanna make him a metal controller."
Emer was a little surprised that Kale wanted to invite the kid over so soon, but she shrugged and nodded. "Sure, but he has to ask his parents first. What do you say Valens, want to come over?"

Valens reached out to shake her head, forcing himself to stop starring at her then turned to look at Kale. He seemed surprised and really excited at the same time that he'd been able to make a friend in the spotted boy, "I would have to ask my Dad, hes outside taking a smoke break." The horse explained before asking Kale, "Should I get a controller here for you to work on?"
He was unsure if he would need to buy one for Kale to make into the metal controller or not having no idea how it would be done himself. Building things like what Kale was talking about was a bit above the horse's thoughts, "Oh! What about Ellie? She will want to come is that ok?" He asked of Emer.

Emer went up to the counter and paid for Kale's game, glancing over at Valens. "Sure why not?" Emer didn't know who that was, but why not? The more the merrier right?
Kale asked the question she hadn't. "Who is Ellie? Momma, can we see if Ligeia and Ter and Orphius can come over to? It would be fun."
Emer chuckled, "I will call and see, come on guys, lets go find Valens Dad." She shooed the two boys out of the store in front of her. "Valens don't worry about it, Kale has taken apart like five controllers, you don't have to get anything."

Val's tail set to swishing happily behind him, "She will be so excited, she likes to get out and about." He said to Emer before turning to Kale, "Ellie is my dragoness, shes no doubt stuck to the window at either the jewelry store or hanging out in the food court begging for food." Those were her two favorite places to go after all.
The horse boy was curious as to who the people that Kale spoke of were but didn't ask, instead he shifted on his hooves. His father would be pretty happy that he wasn't going to have to buy a new controller. No doubt even more happy if the metal controller that Kale was going to design worked.
"Alright, lets go find my Dad then and Ellie." He was glad that where Ellie was would be on the way to where his Dad was, he didn't want to drag them out of the way to find everyone.
