Welcome to Vel's little place in the countryside, an unoriginal title as you could find but I spent all my time thinking about the characters and next to nothing on how I'd fill out this place. Speaking of which you will probably notice it you looked around that you are standing in a large courtyard at the centre of a vast rambling Estate. With tall decorative columns lining the walkways between the marble finished buildings with their high domed roofs going as far as the eye can see.

Spéir: stare What in blazes are you talking about, we scrapped those plans when you saw how ludicrously expensive it would all be just to build, never mind the cost of maintaining and staffing it, or the fact we'd all be old and dead before it'd be finished.

sweatdrop Fine, the House is actually just a quaint little place nestled in the woods, far from anyone else, after all it would be cruel and unusual to subject any neighbours to this bunch of... characters.

Quaint? It's a small mansion! And it still cost a bloody fortune, because you choose to keep the neighbours at bay by buying up the land for acres around. Was it really necessary?!

sad Penny pincher, I hope to be here for the long haul so hopefully the house will eventually have a few more residents and eventually need to be expanded, I'm just buying up the property now before it goes up in value and that. Besides Vel+Gold == Sieve+Water

Shouldn't you be getting back to work then so you can afford all this mad spending? Rather than use this as an excuse to procrastinate from working.

The Patriot Brothers

((Quick note, these were based on American Patriots, while I have drawn a little inspiration for their characters from the historical figures they are based on, Ive also put in a lot of my own stuff. I say this in the hopes no one misinterprets what I have these characters saw/do as being meant to reflect on the figures they are based on and takes offence. Just thought I'd get that out of the way))
These three guys I have dubbed the Patriot Brothers, now no doubt you are thinking "Brothers? But they don't look alike, they aren't even the same species?!" Well there is an explanation to this a vast and complicated family tree that lead to various recessive genes eventually coming to the fore resulting in them looking like different branches of said tree. Or maybe they are only half brothers, who shared a common womanising father? Or a common mother who kept falling for the wrong type of guy? Or..

Spéir: Or you could just tell the simple truth, they aren't blood relatives, you just adopted them together and since they're around the same age they grew up acting like brothers. Geez man, must you over dramatise everything, you were making them sound like characters from a bad soap opera.

Moving on....
First up is my personal favourite Ben

Ben

Name: Ben
Bio: The eldest and supposedly smartest of the three brothers, true he is quick on the uptake and is rarely at a loss for an answer to any question, however he tends to lack on the more practical aspects of life, i.e. he has the common sense of a may fly. If you asked him to change the light bulb he’d gladly agree, but he’d probably get sidetracked half way along and start designing a longer lasting more energy efficient bulb, leaving you still standing in the dark three days later.
While loving to read and learn new things, he’s happiest when trying to put his new found knowledge into use, causing him to regularly disappear into his workshop to tinker away at his experiments. Many of which have little, if any practical use but are carried out just to see if it can be done.
Ben is somewhat emotionally detached, not shy, simply uninterested in other people unless they happen to be willing to put up with a lecture on his latest discovery or topic of research. He is however very loyal to those few he does bond with and will often go out of his way to help a friend in need.
Personality: Intelligent, loyal, scatter brained at times, optimist
Hobbies: Reading, experimenting and lecturing (yes to him that’s a hobby, especially when it applies to his younger brothers)
Favourite Place: Library’s mostly though he does enjoy being in noisy factories and workshops as he finds the hum of machinery soothing
Likes: Learning new things, talking about any topic he is knowledgeable on and cake
Dislikes: Any theological/mystical or pseudo-science explanation for events, people too stubborn to admit they were wrong and he was right.
Orientation: Homosexual – Ben likes it when things make sense and work as he expects them to. Spending most of his time in the male dominated area of Engineering and having predominately male friends and family he has a good idea of how a guy will react to certain stimulus, but is often confounded by how women react without any apparent reasoning. So he's found himself more comfortable sharing his feelings with other guys.
Mate: nope
Current Status: probably reading, hope he's not at something new in his workshop...

Next is the horn dog...

George

Name: George
Bio: The second oldest of the three, he is also the second smartest, although that is often up for debate, for while he lacks Ben’s book smarts he is a far more practical person and if you want a quick and practical solution to a problem he’s the man to look to. George is the most outgoing of the three brothers and considers himself to be something of a ladies man, possessing charm in the bucket loads he possibly is. However his ego leads him to expect women to swoon at his slightest glance or witty quip and his ego can be easily bruised when reality fails to meet his expectations. He also has a jealous streak and can be a little bitter when he feels he’s been out done by another guy.
Unlike his brothers he can bond with people very quickly and will often go out of his to help someone he has only just met, as if they were life long friends, which on occasion has gotten him into more trouble then its worth.
Personality: Practical, charming, loyal (to his friends but has very vague ideas about what it means to have boundaries and what an exclusive relationship means), a bit egotistical at times with a jealous streak, the realist
Hobbies: Going on long walks and exploring new trails and paths. Practicing his charm and seduction techniques.
Favourite Place: Sitting in an orchard relaxing or at a large party (preferably as the centre of attention)
Likes: Seducing young women, proving Ben wrong, fine wines
Dislikes: Getting rejected, being outdone, anything that tastes too bitter
Orientation: Heterosexual – George is a skirt chaser and will think nothing of trying to keep several young women on the go at once, which rarely actually turns out well in the end.
Mate: nope
Current Status: Loitering somewhere watching pretty girls wander past
Quote: “Well hello there My Dear, what is a pretty rose like you doing here all alone?”

And finally the quiet one

Paul

Name: Paul
Bio: Paul is the youngest of the three, with his brothers several years older than him, Paul was often picked on a bit, which caused him to become a little introverted and a loner. Paul chose to spend much of his time alone often out doors in quiet isolated areas, often going out on camping trips for several days, sometimes weeks without encountering another soul. As he grew up though he developed more physically where his brothers developed mentally meaning Ben and George started to regret picking on the little kid. Still Paul is the gentle type and is rarely prone to violence unless he has to.
While no longer bullied he still prefers to keep his own company, as he has grown accustomed to the quiet of nature. While lacking the book smarts and education of his older brothers he has a well developed repertoire of self taught skills. If you randomly dropped the three into a forest, Ben would be utterly lost within the hour and would spend the nights shivering from cold and moaning about hunger till someone found him. George could probably get a fire going and would find his way home in a few days, hungry and tired, Paul though would have a shelter built and be cooking his freshly caught dinner before noon and would be home whenever he decided he needed a fresh set of clothes.
Like the other brothers he is a pretty loyal guy always there for a friend, but he is a bit more gullible and finds it hard to say no to anyone’s request.
Personality: Dependable, quiet, loyal, push over, bit of a pessimist
Hobbies: woods lore, engraving, occasionally reading romance novels
Favourite Place: The quiet areas in the woods and near by mountains mostly, though if he goes into a town he can spend ages at jeweller’s and glass merchants.
Likes: Solitude, working with his hands, shiny things
Dislikes: Stormy nights, being yelled at, feeling taken advantage of
Orientation: Undecided? – Paul hasn’t had much contact with people beyond immediate family and generally prefers to keep his own company. But everyone needs someone, and deep down Paul is a bit of a romantic and secretly dreams of someone who’ll accept him and make him feel complete. While his pessimistic outlook means he often feels like he'll never find anyone, he still likes to fantasise and is a sucker for a sappy story. Although some of these fantasies are a little too mussy to be realistic, who knows what the future might bring?
Mate: none
Current Status: Wandering a quit forest path somewhere

Spéir: So whats the excuse this time? Is he supposed to be a member of staff too? A butler, cook, official butt scratchier? stare

Security, You keep complaining about how much I spend so I though security would be a good idea 3nodding To protect my investment.

Security? I'm not sure I should be annoyed at frivolous spending or flattered you think that much of me... Still I'm not sure we can afford him

Well if you decide we need to fire Grádaigh, I'm not the one telling him. He doesn't look like the type to take rejection well.



Name: Grádaigh
Bio: Grádaigh's past is a bit murky, he first turned up when Vel, paranoid that someone would try to abduct his pets, advertised a position as bodyguard/ security person. Originally there were twelve candidates, but after interviewing the first candidate, Vel returned to the waiting room to find a patiently waiting Grádaigh, a few recent blood stains on the carpet and no body else. When asked what happened Grádaigh just shrugs and says they mustn't have wanted the job that much. Since the only other person had an accident shortly afterwards, Grádaigh got the job by default and moved in a few days later, since then nobodies even gotten the nerve to suggest that Grádaigh might not be the safest person to have around.
Grádaigh himself is very cold and stoic in nature, it takes a lot to fluster or upset him and while he does feel emotions you'd have to be watching very closely to notice any outward sign of his mood. Even when he's pounding on someone he doesn't seem to be angry or happy he just does it with the same enthusiasm most would have to getting dressed or brushing your teeth, it's nothing major just a job that has to be done. (although it has been noticed that he often starts humming merrily to himself as he pounds his victim.) And Grádaigh is pretty good at hitting things, his hobbies including boxing and Comhraiceoir Bata, an old fashioned and rarely practiced type of combat.
Grádaigh's one great passion though is his stamp collection, which is the one topic he'll happily talk about for hours, not that anyone else would want to listen to him talk about stamps. On the few occasions someone has tried to bother Grádaigh while he was going through his collection the result is usually Grádaigh starring nearly unblinking at that person till they turn and run...
Personality: Cool, calm and stoic he tends to neglect others and can be sadistic
Hobbies: Boxing, Comhraiceoir Bata, Historic recreation, Stamp collecting (last guy who mocked him about this can't do much more than lick stamps these days...)
Favourite Place: Arenas, and occasionally he goes off but doesn't say where he's going
Likes: Coming out on top, hitting people, his collection of stamps
Dislikes: Nosey people, not being in control, has a phobia of spiders
Orientation: Gay - Grádaigh seems to like dominating other people and there are a few rumours about that sadistic streak he has. neutral
Mate: nope (who'd risk it?)
Current Status: Staring at his books and books of stamps, or hurting a poor hapless soul somewhere.

YURI!! 3nodding Vel has but one problem.... I suck at rp'ing other characters sweatdrop I had to gt him but I fear I might not be able to rp him in a way that reflects his actual character. That's why I so rarely get cosplays, still isn't he handsome so who cares if I mess up his personality if he looks great ^w^;;

Yuri

Name: Yuri Hyuga
Bio: He was born in Katsuragi in 1890 to a Japanese father, Ben Hyuga, and a Russian mother, Anne. A trouble maker, Yuri speaks his mind, is often impolite, and is reluctant to accept his special abilities. He acts the hero mostly for the thrill of fighting monsters. Once he meets Alice Elliot his attitude begins to change, although he remains troubled about his fusion powers. His desire to change is fueled further when he discovers Alice had sacrificed her soul to save him. He is additionally motivated by the memory of his father, who fought hard and died protecting the world. A Harmonixer, he possesses the powers of Fusion, which he inherited from his father. These powers were awakened in his childhood when zombies attacked his home, and Yuri's mother died trying to protect him. By fusing with the souls of demons, he can turn into various forms and thus gain new abilities in battles. When he is not using his fusions, he fights with knuckle-mounted blades.
Alice dies though ((Damn it, I worked hard to get the ending where she lived stare )) and Yuri settles in the town of Domremy after burying Alice there. He uses his Fusion form to scare invading soldiers away from the village, but runs into problems when Nicolas Conrad from the Vatican strikes him with the Holy Mistletoe, cursing him and sealing his powers. His aloof and rude attitude have been somewhat tempered by the loss of Alice, but are still there in many situations. ((Taken mostly from wiki cause I'm tired and lazy, I'll edit it more myself later))
Personality: Rude, arrogant, brave, stubborn cocky
Hobbies: Does pounding something till it stops twitching count as a hobby?
Likes: problems that can be solved by violence, hunting demons
Dislikes: Demons, complications
Orientation: Bi << >>
