Sitting on top of the ruin where the wind blow gently in the air, her eyes slowly opened to take one look at the surroundings that she was in. Holding the katana that was given to her by her older brother made her hand tighten on it to slowly look up to have a better of view of things at her surroundings, feeling uneasy and unhappy at the results on where she is made her frown deeply on what to do next. 'There are times I just want to kill someone yet there aren't anyone here...' Rakka thought darkly to finally get off the ruin to stand to look straight of her with a serious look upon her face to hold another katana in her other hand. Holding both katana's tightly in her hands made Rakka slowly put each of them on the side of her waist of her kimono, turning her head to have the wind blow more but harshly behind her made the rose that was in her hair made one of the petals fall. Raising one of her hands to have the petal rest on her palm at the memories flooding in her in on what happen in the past when she was young made her slowly look down at the ground floor in depression. Seeing bones appearing out of the sandy ground from the wind blowing made Rakka slowly close her eyes halfway to forget where she's at. 'Memories...' Rakka thought in depression to have herself go in a trace to watch the memories flash in her mind harshly in her eyes. I stared blankly as some gears turned ever slowly. They made no saound as they turned on pure magick of some kind. The wind began to pick up, and bones began to crop up and disappear on the sand. "the sands of time." i thought to myself. I looked across the field, sand, bones, gears, and ruins covered the landscape. From my perspective on a floating gear, it seamed to be a bearen waste land. Patches of grass cropped up here and there, but that was the only living thing for at least miles. Even so most of the patches were dead. It seemed like this place has a shield that protects it from life itself. I wonder what would happen if i stayed here too long. The effects would probably leave me like the bones that frequently cropped up. I eventually hopped off my position on the gear and moved on. I stopped as i came apaun a skeleton dressed in full armor. The wind picked up again and it's head appeared. A single arrows protruded from it's bone fore-head. It's jaw hung open, teeth were missing. I saw scars that riddled the person's bones. I knelt down beside the long dead solider, his boney hand rested apaun a golden necklace, it shined faintly in the light. Soon the wind picked up again, and soon his skeleton was gone. It was rare to find full skeletons still suited now. People would often come here and loot anything they could pick off the poor skeletons of war. I stood, and not too far off i spotted someone.

Her eyes snap as soon as the wind began to pick up again and it made Rakka jump off the ruin she stood upon to feel someone entering the area she was in. With her eyes flickering to know it was something she didn't know well, made Rakka slowly turn her head to the direction where the comer came from. Seeing him watch the full skeleton in armor wash away in the sand by the wind that was blowing on them made Rakka frown deeply at this. "What brings someone like yourself here?" Rakka shouts from the distance in hopes that got the person attention from where she stood. Not wanting to move from her spot, her feet began to move to a shade nearby from the sun shinning brightly at her. Not remember how long she been here at the ruins, a sweat began to appear down her forehead at the heat she was in. 'I lost track of time again...I wonder how long have I been here...' Rakka thought in wonder to look up at the sky before heading to the shade completely by the ruin she stood upon. Having one of her arms cover her upper face to where her eyes were located from getting blind by the sunrays made Rakka frown even more at this.

The sands beat my skin and face. I think even a bone passed right in front of my face. I squinted in the sand's relentless pounding. I began to get closer to the ruins where the stranger took shelter from the sun. Now i could only see the stranger as a shadow, the sand made a thick screen in front of me. I probably was being mistaken for a bandit or something, or just an illusion. "I don't know, i just stumbled along this place." i shouted into the sand picked up by the wind. It was an odd moment, talking to someone you've never met before and can't even see. When the wind died down, i wiped off all the sand that covered me. I eventually had to shield my eyes from the blinding rays of the sun.

Rakka watch the stranger come by and shield his eyes from the sand that was coming upon his face, it was a bit funny to see someone do that in front of her and a small giggle escape her lips as she continue to watch a bit more. "Not use to the sand?" her voice was teasing when she asks to study the new comer for a moment before taking a step forward, he was different though there was something she didn't like about him for some reason. "If you stay where I am at, I am sure you will not be harmed by the dangerous sand that goes up your face" Rakka said calmly to hold her laugher on how funny this was, it wasn't something she would normally laugh about but this was something she couldn't help.

It was unmistakeable that the stranger was trying to hide laughter. "Well, in the forest there isn't much sun, wind, or sand." i said casually, walking towards the unknown person as i was instructed. When i was in the safety of the ruins i could see the stranger's features. "And who do i have the pleasure of adressing?" i said as i wiped of clumps of sand. I even found a few small bones in them.

"The name is Rakka, I'm new to this area and I happen to somewhat claim this place" she said in a deep voice to have one of her hands on her hips to feel one of her katana's touch her hand, having to be sure she was on guard and to show that she isn't a weakling as she appeared to be made Rakka smile sweetly at the person who came to her shade. "And who you might be? I see that you are a traveler and that you are not use to the sandy areas" she said in the same voice to take a step forward to take a better look at the person to suddenly circle around him in curiosity on who he was. "Why would someone like yourself travel this far? You are an elf and that is rare to find people like yourselves around this region" she said lightly now to stop in front of him in wonder yet in confusion at this. It was a bit awkward to see someone like him appear in a desert area when he use to the forest, it wasn't something she wasn't suppose to be too curious about but it was something she wanted to know though she knew better and kept her mouth shut to wait until he was comfortable with her.

i could tell Rakka didn't want to be dealt with at the moment, and probably never will. I had no intention of harming anything today anyways. My appearance probably makes me look like a marader or bandit. Hopefully this new face isn't so quick to judge."My name is Valence. I was just traveling, exploring i guess." i said, although the last part was a lie. "I can guess you wouldn't find an elf around here, or anything else living." i mumbled beneath my face-mask.

((Ack, I forgot about this roleplay!! >< I'm sorry!!)) Rakka frown a bit to hear Valence mumble at his last part through his mask, it was a bit rude of him to say such a thing yet it was quite funny to see him act like this. Slowly putting her hands on her hips to kick the dirt in front of her to make a small tiny cloud made Rakka smile now to look up at Valence with some sort of evil smile upon her face. "Exploring, huh?" Rakka repeated sweetly. "Well, if you are exploring around this area...you came to the wrong place and wrong time to appear at this spot I am in" Slowly taking a step closer to soon walk around him again to put her hands behind her to look innocent now. "One question before I take my leave..." Rakka began slowly. "Why would an elf wear a mask to hide his face? Are you afraid to show who you are or is there some kind of spell that you are not able to remove this mask of yours?"

"I wear it for neither of those reasons. If it wasd to hide my identity then i would not have told you my name." I said, already turning to on the move again. "Some things are just better kept a secret." i said over my shoulder before i stepped out of the security of the ruin and into the grasp of the sands. I was heading for some kind of exit, or just an end to this waste-land. I grasped my daggers' handles for comfort, 'Some things are better kept a secret...' it echoed in my head. rebounding off the walls of my mind.

"So, you rather hide yourself due to the secrets you hold?" Rakka said in amusement at Valence answer to her question when he began to walk off on her then soon frown deeply to quickly take out one of her katana's and throw it to stop Valence as it hit beside him. "It's a bit pathetic that people like yourselves hold secrets for who knows how long, you should know that the longer you keep the secrets within yourself. The secrets you hold deeply inside your heart will be poured out of you one of these days" A smile began to form upon Rakka face as she stares at Valence long and hard to get his attention. It was time to play her game and see how long Valence could hold in at the game she was about to play. 'Let's see how good you are...you might entertain me a bit while I am here' Rakka thought playfully.

I heard as Rakka drew her weapon and threw it to my side. It has definately gotten my attention, not wanting to be dealt with, to asking for a fight. I listened as she gave me lecture on secrets, i've already heard it. I grinned behind my mask, so determined and eager, so foolish and neive. I looked over my shoulder, then slowly turned to face Rakka again. I saw the playfullness glimmering inside her eyes. I began to chuckle, then it turned into a laugh. When i stopped i picked up her katana and threw it directly into her sheath. "Wouldn't want you to go without it." i mumbled.

Rakka didn't show any signs of surprises when Valence threw her sword back into its sheath; it made her a bit more amused by the way he gave his answers to her. "So, your reason of traveling is like running away from the troubles you been through?" Rakka began. "That's a boring thing to do in life" Before Rakka could go any further her hands were finally going behind her head thoughtfully to think about something for a moment. 'He's seem like someone not to mess with yet though why is he traveling all alone when he has a place to live than most people in this world? You got me more curious than I should'
