  Morning slowly rose across the land. The ground was seemingly mist covered over the waters and gently spread onto the beaches and shores. The air was crisp and clean. Zillah stood in front of a misty lake early in the morning. She had been up all evening rather bored and unable to sleep. It was strange. Zillah didn't normally stay awake during the evening. The mare tossed her curly hair and yawed. Amber eyes gazed around the clearing.

He moved silently through the mist, tackless and silent. His tail was looking ratty on the ends, and his braids were coming out. They would have to be redone, he decided vainly. It simply wouldn't do. His mane was getting in his eyes. A glance up showed a dark form standing by the lake, where he had been heading. Cautiously, he approached. In these dark days, one could never be too careful.

Zillah was unaware of the approaching stallion so silent in his approach, until a breeze brought his sent to her. Zillah whipped around tossing her white tipped curls to see a scruffy black stallion with a silver tipped tail and hooves. His tail was odd until she saw the spiraling silver horn atop his forehead. Well that would at least explain that.
"Who are you?" she asked defensively of her midnight intruder.
The chocolate painted mare was rather embarrassed to be caught unaware. How dare he sneak up on her! And why would he even want to?

Well then. He could certainly understand how one would be wary of a slightly disheveled stallion approaching out of the dark, but that was not the reaction he'd been expecting. "I am Khalon. I am also very thirsty." he moved around her, dipping his muzzle into the lake, ignoring the mare deliberately. If she was going to be defensive, he would certainly let her, and not worry about her. He was getting what he wanted, after all. Cool water.

((sorry it took so long!))
Zillah snorted, well that answered her question. She watched warry as he moved around her. SHe wouldn't be caught more off garud than she already had been. "take the water." she said "it's not mine." she wasnt in the mood for fighting., She waswell built and had done training since she was a foal. Zillah walked to another part of the lake and took a drink herself.
