Appearance: AJ is very short. She's roughly 5'3" tall and very petite. She has long chesnut hair that she keeps pinned up, usually in odd spikey designs. She has really round eyes that are dark red, almost brown. She dresses in 'punk' clothes most of the time. No one knows for sure how old she is, except for those required to know, because she doesn't like people seeing her older than a teenager [but she's pretty much ancient.]. In additon, she possesses unusually sharp canines.
When she reverts to full demon form, two demonic wings sprout out of her back that are about the same length as her arms. Also, three horns sprout from her head, two on the side and one on the forehead. Her eyes turn a terrifying blood red and her hair lengthens dramatically. Her fingernails lengthen into small but sharp claws, as well.
Personality: Usually, AJ is a voice of reason. Her patience hardly ever wears thin and her composure rarely falters. She's an exptremely calm and placid character who doesn't necessarily come off as talkitave. No, in fact, others often think that she's shady because she doesn't care to give too much detail when stuck in a conversation. She's friendly though, as long as she doesn't have a reason to distrust anyone, which in her profession, trust is hard to come by. She's a realist, always seeing things for they are, not for what they could or couldn't be. She's also pretty observant and a serious creature who doesn't like to induldge herself very often.
Weapons/Body Armor/Tools: Two SMG's that fire specially made, priest blessed rounds, a hydraulic powered crossbow that fires silver-tipped stakes, and her favored weapon: Scythe of Hell's Torment. This weapon is specially made to go against evil-doers and has the ability to attack the soul and scorch it with hellfire. She also keep a large pewter bound book that's kept on a chain around her waist. This is to usually keep track of kills and failures.
History: AJ was born into the world of soul reaping. It was all she knew her entire life, living in a society with other furies, she attending a hunting school nd ranked top of her class. She never really cared to stud or anything; everything she did was off pure instinct. That instinct is what led her to discover her twin sister when she was only eighteen years old. Having been drawn by the darkness of a soul, AJ found herself standing on the rooftop looking down at a bloody scene. She was shocked to discover someone identical to her standing over the bloody mess, but Aj wasn't dumb. She'd been told years ago that her sister had been lost to the world of mortals and that this might happen someday. There's no way a fury can deny their instincts. So, AJ helped her sister, Jez, find her adoption papers and had trained Jez how to fight and make it in their world. They are rarely separated.
Other: While AJ seems like she'd be cold and careless, she's actually got an extremely big heart. Jez recognized this right off the bat and decided that she didn't want to share AJ with anyone. Because of this, Jez acts the way AJ feels on the inside, but if AJ tries to get too close to anyone or shows extra compassion for anyone, Jez will be there to tear it down. It's a safe guard to make sure they stay together- forever.
