here i will do my best to assist you in setting up your character sheets
and answer any questions that relate to them

ok here is what i think a new thief should have

leather armor
long sword
dagger

backpack
belt
2 small belt pouches
10 square yards common cloth
flint & steel
grappling hook
50 ft silk rope
thieves picks
3 torches
2 wineskin/waterskin
3 weeks iron rations

if you started with 200 gold this would leave you with
108 gp 2sp 85 cp
