We have Inkheart and Inkspell, but I never really looked into reading it. Sounds like pretty much everyone gives it good reviews, though.

Hm...well, sequels have a tendency to be that way.

Out of the three I liked the one Thief something most hee-hee biggrin I was quite the bookworm when I was little whee

Have both the books. I read it a few years ago. It was very interesting, but I gave up on it when there weren't any other books to read on with.

I have both of the books, as well. I did read the first one a long time ago...maybe three or four years ago...I'm not precisely sure...and I can't remember when I read the second one, either...maybe a year or two ago. I believe it was last year, but I can't be certain...I never have been good with time... Anyway...yes, the second one isn't as good as the first. Sequels are usually never as good as the first book, I completely agree. I really enjoyed Inkheart. The second one, however, Inkspell, that book was a bit unsatisfactory...while the first one has at least a little closure. Actually, if you really wanted to, you could end it with just Inkheart, even though it can be expanded upon. I mean, I enjoy cliff hangers, but sometimes, it's just a little too much...as with the case of Inkspell, though this is simply my opinion, and others may think differently. I think I might have to read the third when it comes out, if it's not already out, and I'm happy to hear that there is a third one...if there wasn't, it'd be a little weird...though sometimes books just end that way, so I suppose it would be understandable if there wasn't another book after it.

I've read about half way through Inkheart. It was pretty good, but I want to finish the rest so I know if it's worth buying, along with the others. I checked it out of the library at school, but I didn't get to finish because the year ended and I had to return it, not to mention that I'm too lazy to get it from the local library..! sweatdrop
