Really guys, it's not that special. I personally hate it. It's confusing and I'm already on Sheezy. Everybody from dA says Sheezy copy's them, when they don't, and there's no reason for it.
People into ZADR make no real attempts to post their art/writing elsewhere, and the whole community is dying form it.
Feel free to post your point/argument.

Hm okay lemmy list some things... Sheezy art had no starting date found anywhere on their website, Deviantart was started on the year 2000. So there may be a 90% chance that Sheezy was started later and is probably a 'duplicate' of Deviantart.
Deviantart has a simpler art submitting system and in my eyes my page is more sorted out than Sheezy. XD;
Sheezy -> Full of furrys. (What most say.) Stereotype? Deviantart -> Anything(?).
The ZADR club started at Deviantart.
All I can think of for now. XP All I can say is that the Invader Zim/ZADR community is bigger on Deviantart than Sheezyart.

Sheezy started in Sept. 2004, because ChannelCat was tired of being in an art community where he could post his things but olny had limited things he could do because he hasn't payed for it. So he started an art site where people can post everything and full access of the site is free, and it's not made to make money. It does have the date on the website, if you look. They had to hide it simply because assholes [not calling all of you that, but still] on dA would spam the fourms, the submissions, comments, everything. It clogged the system. It got real bad for a while there.

And to tell you the truth I really don't see any furrys going around in dA lately. Thats nice of ChannelCat has made a art website where there is no limit for posting and its not made for making money, but there are artists like me and older artists that draw for a living. Deviantart made dream careers for some artists come true too. (a.k.a. spacecoyote~> [x]) That's probably why I look up to Deviantart. As for 'assholes' your probably thinking about the 'bad' part of the community who are the ranters, Deviantart has a great community and alot of people do not rant about 'Dates'.

Well I hope we can get along gonk , I've been through furry phases and probably will again, so bare with me. Maybe I just see the bad parts of dA because I can't pay for those monthly subscriptions or something.
It's just that nobody seems willing to let people into a community like that, or out, for that matter.

I don't have a sub and I'm still pretty well capable of enjoying my time there. Sure, sub makes some stuff easier and sheezy offers that for free, but as for people, I like dA better. I could never bring myself to take Sheezy seriously for some reason, I'm sorry for that but it's just the way I see it. There's more people on dA and I think the site achieved greater things. And I'm way too used to the way dA runs ^^;

And I don't see that either of them have accomplished something enough to see them better than another.

@99luftbalons Its okay, I don't mind people who life furrys, only the ones who go overboard (At school I've met these people who are massibly obessed over furrys, I'm like, scared I mean like really scared. During breaks they start scratching each others arms and do purring noises. @@; That my friend, is what I'm terrified at.)
Well sometimes people need limits, I like how dA made subscriptions, it makes the site a bit more organized.

First on furries: So what? They're people, too, and have the right to do what they want. They aren't hurting me. In fact, some of them are my friends and they never make me feel uncomfortable being what they are.
Second, I have what I consider an "outpost" on deviantART. My actual home is LiveJournal and that's where I post my fic, although I advertise it on deviantART. But I don't see why having it all on dA would kill ZADR. People who are seeking it will still find it through the magic of Google and getting a dA account is really easy.

In a way, aren't we furries? Well...a derivative of furries; but instead of animals, it's aliens. XD *snickergiggle*

No, there's a difference. And the correct term for peoples who love Aliens are Xenophiliacs~<3
In my personal view, there's really nothing wrong with Furries, though, and I don't understand why it gets some people so upset...

Huh.. Why did everyone start talking about furries? confused
Anyways... I've seen SheezyArt but I have never tried using it, so I can't argue which is better. Personally, I don't think it really matters. I've used devintArt, and it was a great place. There was an awesome community, wonderful artists, and it was easy to use. Although I haven't been on in the longest time because I'm not much of an artist.. sweatdrop
I don't think you guys should fight over which site is better. Can you not all just come together as artists and love one another gonk Stop the madness! *over dramatic*

Isn't the point of having a ZADR guild to be able to unite with other ZADR fans, rather than argue amongst ourselves over trivial things like which site we post our art on? xDDD
Me personally, I find DA easier. It also seems a little more professional to me, and I think it's a good way to get my art some exposure, y'know? whee
