I feel the need to write this.

There is no story mode. There are no games like the Stadiums for the N-64. That aside the graphics are great. Several pokemon have been upgraded and look better.

Others look a little off. There are many challanges, and you can't just expect to waltze in with your strongest DS pokemon and floor this game. Some places have specific rules and gimmicks that get in the way.

One of the more interesting things about this game is that if you have your Wii hooked up to the net via a Lan Adapter...you can use the Wifi.

However....the Wifi experience has it's own problems.

Firstly, you can't change things to Set Battles. Many people come into here and switch every few seconds which makes it irritating. Bad match-up in the beginning? Well, you should do what I do. As someone who has been playing these games since the beginning, I know the most honorable thing to do is not to switch. Tough it out, surprise your foe with a Charizard that knows Solarbeam. Figure out double battle combinations that will floor your opponents regardless of type weaknesses.

Moving on, the entire place is infested with people toting game-sharked pokemon. For instance, I came across a Ninetails that knew Fly. I came across a Rayquazza that knew Confuse Ray, Leaf Storm, and Psychic. Watch out for that. There are also people coming in with pokemon taken from game-shark, and the stats have been severly messed with.

The other thing about the Wifi that is equally irritating is that many people would rather send in an entire army of legendaries rather than spend the time to level up pokemon and creating a well-rounded team. You will find people with entire teams of legendaries, and people with entire teams of legendaries that have game-sharked moves. So...be aware of that. Personally, I find it cheap to go one on one with an actual person with pokemon that took no raising, and could be caught and then immediately used within a minute.

So...if you are like me, hate people who bring in teams of legendaries, loath switchers, and would rather battle it out old-school style you might stay away from Revolution's Wifi.

As for the rest of Revolution, it's pretty cool. I love how you actually come up with your own catch-phrases, and dress up your trainer with clothes you earn with poke-cupons.

It's worth the money...but I think the Wifi needs some fixing. Ban the freaking legendaires, and put in safegaurds to recognize and bar game-sharked pokemon.
