Tanith was looking out at the blue sky with a bored look on her face, swinging back and forth on her bed. She was not used to remain in the same place more than 10 minutes. She had been in her room about half an hour, without nothing else to do.
"I just came back from training" she said, somewhat annoyed "Am I supposed to go back and train again?"
She sighed, and looked up at the sky, now humming. She suddenly stop swinging and came up with an idea. Grinning she stood up, hitting her fist toward thin air.
"Yosh!" she yelled. She pocketed a few yens from her night table, and ran out of her room "Oka-san! I'll be right back!"
"Hai. Itterasshai." said her mother calmly from the kitchen.

"Ah" Tanith sighed, as soon as she was inside her house again "Oka-san, I'm home"
"Okaeri, Tanith-chan" replied her mother, still from the kitchen "Did you have a good time?"
Tanith growled as response, heading to her bedroom.
"Perhaps going to train again would have been better" she said, while throwing herself to the bed. "Yeah, would have been better..." she mumbled with dreamy eyes. A few minutes later, she fell asleep.

He wasn't sure why he kept to such a modest amount of training when he was on the estates. Perhaps he didn't want his family to see how far he had grown. Which could go two ways, either by not growing enough or by supassing what they thought he should be able to do.
If he was honest with himself, he full believed he was one of the best juken fighters in the village. Then again he also believed himself to be one of the most clever. Then again what was the point of comparing himself to others?
Tanith hyuuga was a year younger than he, and had alrady mastered four of the family arts. Granted she may not have all he had up her sleave, but that put her on par with him at the very least, and greater than him at the most.
Virgil was also a year younger than he, and he too, had a bit more up his sleave, including a sword, and a rather large kunai. If anything he was branching off into other arts, allowing himself to become more well rounded, while he seemed to only stick to what was in front of him.
The last thing he needed, was to be deemed useless, inept, or incapable. That kind of stigma damaged Hinata-Sensei back when she was a child. Though he wondered if it was still approate to call he Sensei given how she was no longer a practitioner. (( I am assuming you meant all the older couples were dead.))
He sighed, dwelling on this wouldn't change anything. Only immedate body numbing training could hope to allievate his current dilema.
He calmly moved off to a corner, and began to practice, just how many strikes, and movements he could do in a limited amount of space.

Kaoru continued on through the Konoha streets, sight seeing everything there was to see since he was only a tourist so to speak. He passed next to one of the larger buildings in the district, he took off his messenger bag, and lit a cigarette. As he rested his aching feet, he got up flipped teh cigarette and left teh area.

The messenger bag that the Suna nin had left at the Hyuuga estates beeped twice then exploded in a massive explosion, setting fire to the building and destorying a big section of it. As the fire began to eat away at the manorm, parts began to collapse.

Hatsuhi was sound asleep when her nose detected the smell of smoke. The odor was still faint. Smoke. Why smoke? She hadn't left anything in the kitchen, had she? She stirred in her sleep as she mentally complained in her dizzy state of the non-existant smoke that kept her from sleeping. As the air suddenly got thick and Hatsuhi found her lungs trying harder than usual to grasp air, she raised from her bed in a second only to find her room filled with black, dense air. Smoke.

He was calm, mediating, his eyes closed as he came down from the natural high training gave him. As he slowly began to relax he could feel the tension inhimself slowly slip away.
A distnict beeping noise broke through his silence. His eyes snapping up he took a wiff of the air. It smelled slightly like smoke. Had some one been smoking on the grounds?
Oh geeze, who would be du...
A second beep and he was suddenly thrown back away from the wall as an explosion went off. Collapsing on the ground he was vaugly aware of a rapidly growing fire spreading through out the grounds. His ears rang drowning out the sounds of teh crackling flames and his ptful moaning.
Struggling to rise, he go to one knee and then quickly clamped his side. Looking down he had found that wood from a door piece had become improptu sharpnel and had lodged themselvf into his side.
"Ugh'
Was all he managed as he drew himself to a kneeling position. He staggered toward the resthouse, his hand clutching his side to stim the flow of blood spilling from him like a waterfall. His head swam and the ringing his his head simply would go away. Despite teh first few unsucessful attempts he managed to pry the wood out of him with sticky yet slippery fingers. the sharpnel falling to the ground like senbons.
Bandaging himself came next even as he felt the heat of teh fire drawing closer to him.
Got to get out of here..
He slammed through the door with his shoulder and stagger forward off the grounds. The sight that met his eyes snapped him out of his pain induced druggie state. The building itself was on fire and collapsing fast. He pushed away the pain, getting a clear grasp on the situation.
Hatsuhi!
His pain was quickly forgotten ad he forced himself to have a clear head. There were people in the house. People of the main branch were in the house, people of his branch were in that house. THEY HAD TO BE SAVED.
He summoned reserves of unkown strength and charged into the burning building, a wet cloth over his mouth to help with the fumes. Searching room by room, he soon found the places deserted and he had wasted his time for nothing.
Reaching on last room he kicked down the door and a sudden flare up almost threatened to engulf him. there lying prone were two figures. the first he recognized as the main branch mother, teh second had to have been her daughter, who was known for attending her mother's bedside during the times she had been sick. With out though or hesitation he rushed and and pul;ed a collapsed beam of of the mother.
With his remaining strength his hoisted her up, and placed her over his shoulder. With no time to be fancy he lifted up his cousin and placed her on his other shoulder before staggering out of the building, smoke threatening to collapse his lungs, his musucles burning not from fire but from exhaustion, yet overridden by fast pumping adreline.
He stagger outside, smoke obstructing his vision. A beautiful sight met his eyes as villagers quickly came together to help put out the fire before the actual fire department arrived. Staggering into the corwd with thei bucket line, he continued to stagger forth until a voice shouted.
"LOOK THEY MADE IT."
Another one soon followed.
"THAT KID GOT THEM OUT OF THERE!"
soon a whole chourse of voices filled the air, most grunts from the water and lots of shoutings of instructions. The others, amazed at the survivors. Then the shouts got a bit more... helpful to his ears.
"GET HIM TO A DOCTOR"
"SOME ONE HELP HIM!"
Still he continued forth pushing hisway through the crowd until strong hands gripped his shoulders. Soon he felt a weight being lifted off of him, yet in his mind only one though remained.
"Gotta keep going."
Still he was level headed enough to not attack those coming to help him. Soon he collapsed as loss of blood finally caught up to him, inducing in him a fainting spell.

Slowly and silently, the mass of black rose from the ground, and began to receed back into Chiharu's shadow. The medical squad had already been to the scene, and the fire was put out, and the manor deserted. But where was this new chakra that Naoki had detected? Then the girl wriggled her nose. It smelt familiar. Much like her early morning smokes. "Tabacco . . ." she muttered, "I'm sure you smell it too." she said turning to her companion. She wondered . . . was her last encounter related to the event?

Shedo Nodded and put his his collar mask over his mouth and nose "Whats going on?" Shedo said since nothing had been explained to him and he had just gotten an not so long ago. Shedo was trying to figure out what started a fire, his light indigo eyes started to water for second and his pupils turned cat like and he started looking around trying to connect the dots, his eyes only water because the natural energy of the air was so distorted by the smoke and burned sensation around them.

As she searched the scene, abruptly, the kunoichi heard loud ground shaking explosions, and smelt the kind of smoke she didn't like. Naoki had informed her the perp was already on his merry way. "Damn it, we're too late." she cursed. Then she heard yelling. But the good kind.
"CHIHARU-SAMAAAAAAAAA!"
"Shut up you idiot, she can see us you don't have to yell!"
Leiko and Matsui ran up to the Hokage frantically. Both were panting. It seemed like they had tried to get to her as fast as they both could. Leiko fought to catch her breath, but Matsui had spoken up before her sister.
"Three fires have broken out throughout the village, we've evacuated everyone in those areas, and the fire are being put out as we speak. The guards at the gate claim a nin started these fires, they witnessed him setting off some sort of detonation device and flee. The thing is . . . he bore the symbol for sand . . . his papers even checked out . . . oh." Matsui had stopped her explaination and finally noticed the Kazekage, "Hello Shedo-sama."
Chiharu bit at her lip. She swore, she was going to die of high blood pressure. Teenagers should not be running ninja villages. She sighed and took in a deep breath, calming down. A sand nin trying to blow up Konoha? "That's . . . odd. Shedo, as Kazekage this involves you. You know every person in your village. We'll check with the Jounin at the gate to see who this was and set things straight. It takes two days from Konoha to Suna on foot . . . I'll contact the ANBU at the border to see if this shinobi shows up again." she sighed and turned Shedo. These events were oddly coincidental. First this unknown shinobi poses as ANBU, breaks into her office, steals a jutsu scroll, tries to kill her, and it turns out to be a Shouten jutsu. Then this Suna nin and his fires . . . what was going on? The alliance with Suna had been strong for the past 50 years. Shedo and Koichi couldn't have turned on her. But she highly doubted that. The bonds she shared with the boys were strong. They were family. One way or the other she was going to figure out.

The medin nin sighed and scratched her head. Chiharu was already under so much stress. Should she tell her? Matsui shifted and uncomfortably and tapped the Hokage on the shoulder. "The three fires. One of the fires started here of course. And the other two . . . well, they were at the manor and flower shop . . ." she murmured looking at the ground.
That moment, Chiharu felt her heart sink into her stomach. "W-what . . . ?" she stammered, "Where is Yune?! What about everyone in that manor?! Is everyon--"
The Tsuyomi, placed her hand over the Hokage mouth, much to the shock of everyone, even herself. "Please, please. Chiharu-sama, do not fret. Everyone is perfectly fine. Yune was out of the house before the fires started. And I don't know how but Reira and the maids put out the fire before the medics and Jounin got the scene. And, I'm sorry, but the flower shop is gone . . ." Matsui slowly withdrew her hand, and bowed. "I'm sorry."
"Sorry . . . ?" The Nara placed a hand over her heart and sighed, almost falling to the ground. She took in a breath of air and smiled earnestly. "I'm relieved is what I am. I'm just glad no one got hurt . . . "
Matsui sighed and wiped her forehead for dramatic effect. "That's great! Because last time when I had to break the news about Hanto drawing on the memorial, you almost kill---" Leiko quickly placed her hand over her sister's mouth and pulled her back. "Not everyone got out safely though. A couple Hyuuga are in the hospital. I think we should stop by."
Chiharu nodded and turned back again to Shedo. "This kind of stuff only happens when you come around."

Shedo scratched his head "I don't even know what your talking about..." He sighed as he's eyes started to go back to normal. "so how lond has this stuff been going on?" Shedo said a bit worried since it all happened while he was there conveniently enough, he decided that he was going to leave the mask on his face so that he wouldn't be recognized by people who knew him, although he was a bit tall and hard to miss.

The Hokage sighed and took a final look at the scene. "Let's getting headed to the hospital. Shedo, I think it's safer if you remain in that cat henge. We're heading back to ANBU hq afterwards." From this point on, she had to be more careful. Even so she couldn't help but feel weak. Chiharu frowned, and placed a hand over her stomach. She had a bad feeling about all of this, what ever was happening . . . "Let's go." she murmured as she started walking to the hospital.

Kazumi walked into the area. He had never gone into the Hyuuga Estate except to heal those who were sick or injured. He walked closer to the scene. As soon as he started to take a step, he found another cigarette in the distance. He ran over and picked it up. It was the same make as the other. He put into a bag that had the other. He walked closer to the wrecked part of the building. Unlike the other explosion site, this was only partially destroyed, probably because of it's sheer size. He walked in closer and looked around for a fabric that is similar to the one that was in the flower shop. It could be related, or not. After twenty minutes of searching, he found nothing in the wreck. He decieded to move to the next area. And so he left to the Yamanaka and Nara House hold.
