ANBU protect the village from exceptional threats, conduct high-risk missions into enemy countries, and deal with extremely strong ninja. They are also responsible for carrying out assassinations and missions requiring specially trained ninja. The Konoha ANBU organization serves under the direct command of the Hokage. This is their headquarters. Only those who work under the title of ANBU and the Hokage are permitted here.

 Uchiha AscheShe stepped lightly over the stones steps into the ANBU headquarters. Her feet barely even made sound as she walked, because as she was trained to always keep a thin layer of chakra under her feet to reduce the sound, and could eliminate the sound altogether if necessary. She stepped up to the main office and gave a weak smile to the lady at the counter,
"Uchiha Asche. Captain of the Torture and Interrogation Squad. Are there any assignments for me?" she asked in a neutral tone.

Shadows dropped from the sky, to any one observing, it would have at most looked like a bird taking a dive, and at least go unnoticeable or dismissed as a cloud passing by.
Hand signs were created and chakra drawn up, and then with out missing a beat, he felt through the roof with out disturbing a thing.
Slipping inside of the building with relative ease for what he was trying to accomplish, he glanced around the dimly lit room he had landed in.
He had planned it as such of course, since he had done the required recon of this building, and the very slow traffic that seemed to pass through here. He had even picked the time of day, when most of the units were out, either on patrol or missions, and security looked to be at its most lax, which was not very lax but it was workable.
Standing to his full height he crouched to the door and listened. If he was right, he had picked the right person to take over. Anti-social, highly skilled, and proficient in water jutsu. It wouldn't be too hard to impersonate this ninja at all. It was almost as if it had been set up by him to begin with.
Slipping out into the hallway, he was surprised to see how empty it was, calling on what knowledge he had on the building's lay out, after a few sharp turns and twists, he found his way to where he needed to be. Once again he melded into the wall with the ease of a cat leaping to the ground.
Stalking his prey he suddenly appeared from the wall behind the man, and in one quick motion slit his throat before he could even make a sound.
Little blood was spilled upon the floor as the cut was to fast for the blood to spray, instead it slowly began to leak out, which was easily fixed with the precautions he had brought.
Then he made a quick study of the man's body and build. He knew that this guy was relatively knew, and unknown, as well as anti social and the like, however he wanted to mimic what he could incase people in his squad knew him quite well.
Satisfied that he could match the dead man' some what, he took special care in adding the Tattoo on the man's shoulder onto his own, before donning his gear, and then his identity.
At last with his new outfit complete he strapped the shinobigatana onto his back.
I will have to hide my real sword in the apartment it seems.
He took a few practice swings with the Ninjaken drawing it and the like, before slipping out of the building with the body in tow to dispose of it, and fully assume the identity.

Kazumi appeared at the Head Quarters along with Yuuka on his shoulder. He walked over to the door and knocked. As soon as he did, an Anbu appeared behind him with a kunai infront of his neck. "Hello." Kazumi said calmly.
Yuuka was not happy with the Anbu. Yuuka turned around and smacked the top of the black ops head so quickly he couldn't react. "How dare you threaten Kazumi, you stupid moron!"
"Kazumi-san?" The black op asked. "Sorry, it's just procedure since the attack." The Anbu took the knife away and took a step back.
Kazumi turned around and said, "Oh, well, it's not a problem." He turned to Yuuka, who looked like she calmed down a bit. "Yuuka-sama, you don't have to defend me like that. I could have defended myself if I needed to."
Yuuka scratched her head. "I'm sorry Kazumi. It's just like I'm protecting one of my own."
Kazumi smiled lightly, warmed by what Yuuna had said. He looked back over to the black op. "I have orders from Hokage-sama to increase security." The Anbu nodded and disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Kazumi walked into the building. "That Chiharu-chan is one heck of a Hokage." Yuuka started. "It's interesting how she used her attendants own personalities to her advantage, and quickly thought out too." Kazumi walked to the first computer. "Using Matsui-chan to create a distraction to hide her putting this note on my head was quite an interesting thing, huh?"
"Yeah." Kazumi said without saying much. "Can I have the note?" Yuuka took the note out from her cloak and handed it to Kazumi. He took the note and started the computer. He started typing and finished the password changes and moved to the next one. He soon finished half of the computers, and walked over to a balck op in the corner, wearing a lighter color cloak than the others, indicating he was the captain. Kazumi whispered to the Anbu captain about the needed increase in security and was answered with a quick nod.
Kazumi walked oover to the door while Yuuka started talking. "If you want to take Chiharu-chan's job, then you need to step it up Kazumi." Kazumi made a face at Yuuka and then walked back to the computers to finish the password check.

Kazumi soon finished changing the passwords on the computers. Yuuka then started to whisper to Kazumi. "I think that the situation calls for Kakoi."
Kazumi nodded. "I agree." He walked to the center of the large room and faced towards a large empty area. He bit his thumb until it started to bleed. He did a couple of handsigns and slammed his hands together. As soon as he did that, a large puff of smoke appeared in the area. When the smoke disappeared, there stood a truck sized yellow and black frog covered in knights armor.
"Kazumi-san. What calls for me to be summoned." He then looked over at Yuuka. "With Yuuka-sama here, it doesn't seem like you would need any help."
Kazumi then walked towards the large frog. "Um, do you know where you are?" The frog looked at Kazumi and shook his head. "You're in the ANBU Head Quarters, doesn't it look familar?" The frog shook his head once again. "Well, you were here when I was still an ANBU captain." The frog just looked at him. "Hm, I guess you don't remember. Oh, well, can you stay here and guard the building?"
"Sure thing Kazumi-san." The frog shifted. "But, what is the reason that I would need to be summoned to protect here where there are a lot of ANBU members here?" The frog did a scan of the large room and saw that there were eight ANBU members guarding it.
"Didn't you hear about this?" Kazumi looked just as confused as the Kakoi. "There were attacks at three diffrent areas. The Yamanaka flower shop, the Yamanaka/Nara manor, and the Hyuuga Estate."
Kakoi looked surprised. "What? Really? Sorry, I really am not good with staying updated with the news." Kakoi did a couple handsigns and a blue aura surrounding him and expanded until it filled the whole room. The color then dissipated. "There. Now there is a barrier surrounding the building, so that anyone unautherized to enter, can't. The only problem is that to continue the barrier, I can't be summoned or leave the building."
"Don't worry Kakoi-san." Kazumi reassured. "I'll make sure that they take care of you." Kazumi walked over to the anbu captain he had talked to before. When Kazumi came back, he said, "They have agreed to make sure your stay here is as comfutable as possible. And that you might have to stay until we find the reason for the attack, ok?" Kakoi nodded. With that, Kazumi walked out of the Building saying good bye.
Kazumi and Yuuka then walked to a bench near the building. "On the note, little Chiharu-chan also said that she would meet us over here." Kazumi nodded. "Why dont we continue your sage technique training while we wait?" Kazumi's face lit up. Yuuka took a vial of frog oil out from under her cloak and poured onto Kazumi's hand. Kazumi then took the chakra concentration posture. Yuuka summoned a black staff to use incase he failed again. Kazumi sat there concentraiting while he waited for the Hokage.

Kazumi sat and concentrated his chakra. He felt the natural energy flowing into him. He could almost grasp the feeling. He felt a chakra source coming closer. He opened his eyes and instead of focusing on the natural energy and his own chakra he tried to focus on the unknown chakra source, but as quickly as he started to, the left side of his face started to turn into a frog. Yuuka acted quickly and whacked him on the right side of his back.
"Gah!" Kazumi winced as he doubled over. "Yuuka-sama... Couldn't you have hit a little less hard." He wasn't prepared to be hit by the staff that intensely.
"Sorry Kazumi." Yuuka said. "I didn't want you to turn into a frog is all." Yuuka made a face that would make anyone forgive her.
Once Kazumi's pain was over, he got up back onto the bench still rubbing his side. "It's ok Yuuka-sama." He thought about the chakra he had sensed before and went back to concentrating on that chakra.
"Kazumi, you should know that, that was the last of the oil that I had brought from the mountain. Until I get some more, you will have to train without it." Yuuka said as she saw him concentrating his chakra.
Kazumi nodded and got a grasp on the chakra. As it became clearer, he noticed that it was the Hokage, her assistants, and two others. He had recognized one of the chakras to the a person back at the Ramen shop, but did not know the chakra signature of the other. He stopped concentrating, bit his thumb and did a few handsigns. As soon as he did, a puf of smoke appeared in front of him. Out of the smoke appeared a small red and black frog.
"Hey Boss. Whacha need me for?" The frog asked. He looked over to Yuuka. "Hey what is the old hag here for?" The frog said with narrow eyes.
"Watch your mouth boy!" Yuuka angerly waved her fist. She looked over at Kazumi. "Why did you have to summon the loud mouth?" She asked with attitude.
"What? Just because I am better than you at something, you act all snobby?" The red frog glared.
"No! It's because you have an ugly attitude and are so arrogant!" Yuuka replied.
"Yuuka-sama, Kaoru-kun. Please stop fighting." The two bikkering frogs stopped arguing and listened. "I summoned Kaoru-kun here because I need him to check something for me." He looked over to Kaoru. "But, if you keep trying to pick fights, then I could just summon another frog to help." Kaoru nodded frustratedly.
"Now, then. Can you try to sense a chakra for me?" Kazumi asked. "The chakra I need to know about is near the Hokage and her assistants. There are two of them that I do not recognize."
Kaoru nodded proudly this time. "Sure, anything for you boss!" The frog focused his chakra and tried to feel for the Hokages chakra. He soon found the chakra of the Hokage. He felt the assistants chakras as well. He then noticed the chakra that Kazumi had asked for. "Well boss, I recognize them, but I am not too sure." He looked down trying to consentrate some more. "I believe that the two chakra sources are the two Kazekages. I'm sure that one of them is Takahashi-sama. He is in a transformation jutsu, but he is very bad at consealing his chakra. The other was pretty hard to figure out since Shedo-sama is much better at it then the other." He looked back to Kazumi.
Kazumi smiled. "That's why you're the best at your job Kaoru-kun." He looked up at the clouds. It was such a nice day. "I've decided that you can stay here for a while Kaoru-kun if you want to. As long as you don't try to pick a fight with Yuuka-sama."
"Yes boss!" Kaoru saluted. He jumped onto the bench next to Kazumi and Yuuka on the other side.
"Kazumi," Yuuka started. "I think that this is a good time for you to start." She looked over at Kazumi. "I think that you are ready to try to focus the natural energy without the oil."
Kazumi nodded and started to focus on his chakra. Then he felt for the natural energy around him. He started to absorb the natural energy and focused to make the natural, spiritual, and physical energies to be equal. Yuuka and Kaoru just looked on as he concentrated.

Kazumi lost his concentration again while he felt Chiharu's chakra. He looked again after carefully removing all of the natural energy, since he didn't want to be hit by Yuuka again. He faced the large black gate that materialized from time to time. He looked serious this time. He could feel a extremely large ammount of chakra coming from the other side. He knew that the Hokage was coming, along with her two assistants and the two Kazekages.
Kaoru looked in amazement as he has never been in the ANBU headquarters before and has never seen the large gate. Kazumi looked over and noticed. "Don't worry. It's just an entrance." He said with a smile.
Kaoru made a face. "I'm not scared boss. I'm just..."
"A baby." Yuuka said with a straight face. Kaoru started yelling and complaining.
"Kaoru! Yuuka! Stop fighting!" He yelled. The two frogs looked surprised at Kazumi, since he only raised his voice for serious matters. "This is not a time for playing. The Hokage is coming, along with the two Kazekages. I don't want to be embaressed by having two of my summonings fighting each other." The frogs looked sorry as they appologized. They then moved into an upright position, in preporation for the others coming.

As the group progressed toward headquarters, the scenery gradually began to shift. Signs of life were absent. This side of town looked as if every inhabitant had mysteriously disappeared. It felt colder that anyother part of town. Slowly they progressed into the forest. Immediately Chiharu felt the presence of her ANBU. "At least they're alert." She muttered. "What was that Hokage-sama?" Leiko asked. Chiharu just shook her head and stopped abruptly. She examined the area and clapped her hands as if in prayer. "Kai." With that, an enormous black gate appeared out of nothingness.
