Hey everyone, some great news for Sound Designers!
After years of ignoring the burgeoning field of Sound Design, the Tonys are finally recognizing sound with two new categories in the 2008 Tony Awards:
Best Sound Design of a Play
Best Sound Design of a Musical
This is great news and awesome to see that they are finally looking into the present and future of theatre.
