For those of you not already aware, the updates are also located on the homepage under the section entitled Announcements. We're going to get your attention eventually!!!!! (<--- clearly we're serious)
Now onto the important information. We just started up another competition. This time it's avvie art. Oh snap. For more information go check out the competition forum.

NEW COMPETITION!
If that glaring thought and attention seaking post style didn't catch your attention nothing will. There is a new 'Random' competition in the competition section. Check it out. It's easy to compete in and it has fun prizes.

Guild Factions, Pranks & Such
Due to a very generous donation made by banned_beloved we were able to open up our Marauder's Chambers - This is the prank forum. Yippy! There will be an explanation in the FAQ and a couple stickies with classic pranks. Please feel free to flood the fourm with your own threads filled with intricate schemes to thoroughly PWN someone. We'll love you for it. heart
The Guild Factions have also been opened as you can see. If you are a crew member who desires to open their own faction please PM me and check out the FAQ so you're aware of the requirements.

As an update, we are going to have a new, snazzy referral system. More on that later. However I will say this for now: for every 5 members you reccomend, you get a prize. mrgreen So lets get out there and advertise!

QUEST FORUM: Firstly, we have opened up a couple new forums including the quest forum. If you're saving up for a new savvy items or even an entire wardrobe make a thread about it! Even if you don't get donations out of it (but you might; you never know) you can get some friendly good wishes and support bumps. biggrin It's also fun to cross stuff off the grand list of things to get.
GUILD REFERALS:[/b] For every 5 members you reccomend to this guild you win a prize. For the time being the prizes will range in price from 50g-200g. The prizes aren't huge but they add up. Plus the more members there are the more fun it is for everyone. To make sure you get credit for referring them have them put your username in their join request or post it on the new member page.
Guild Giveaway: To encourage member's to be active we will start a guild giveaway. This will happen once we have more than 50 members. Once a day we'll choose a random member to give prizes too. The more members there are the higher the prizes.

Ange's back loves, with a few (hopefully) friendly reminders and updates.
First the reminders:
Please be sure to read the rules subforum. There really aren't that many but people do seem to have not read them and we don't want to ban you.
Make note there's rules against advertising other places without exclusive permissions from our Mods.
Also, there seems to be spamming of various places. We do not appreciate spam threads or spamming in other threads.
A quick other note, the quest subforum is for you to make a thread about your own quest. Do NOT post your quests in other people's threads or beg.
Also, be courteous to our staff and such. We're really really trying to keep things active and fun and easy to use. We don't appreciate and snide commentary or anything of the sort. A happy staff means a happy time for you guys. You don't want to piss off lil' old Ange here. Remember, I have a temper.
Don't forget about the referral contest. We ask to keep note of Gaia ToS while participating, which means don't spam or randomly PM people to join. Just courteously invite friends/people you know. And if they say no, thank them anyway and move on. Don't bug them.
I'll be running around off and on today doing various updates. Hopefully things in the contest and my own threads will be done and I'll be working on getting my faction up and other things cleaned.
And maybe I'll have some more snazzy banners done.
Stay active and follow the rules. heart

MJ's UPDATES: NEW FORUMS:
homework hotline, schools not in session but we figured we may as well open it. Post your questions. We'll supply help links & share our knowledge.
We added a RPG forum; we don't think it'll be active right away because we don't have a lot of active members *shakes fist* but we figured we may as well open it.
We added a minishop forum. For the record you can have graphics shops in the graphics forum AND in the minishop section; we don't really care. We're not quite that a**l.
we also added a crew section so crew members can discuss updates, upcoming competitions, & etc.

Ange here with your daily do's and don't's
Updates have been going 'round. Be sure to check all subforums for them, ok?
Check out the Pranks and Competitions forum for new fun. Also, there are some minishops and graphic shops open for those interested. I've started a Literate RP in the RP subforum. There are also quests up in the Quest forum for those interested and we're still looking for your opinions on how things should run. We'll be updating more gradually through the day so keep an eye out. (Also, I have some new styled banners hopefully in the works and up sometime within the next day or so.)
Keep it up and Keep it active.
