 In a small forest in the world of the Modifoxes, a small kit was playing. His name was Dimitri. He was trying to climb up a tree.
He was young and had no responsibilities yet. So he found himself spending a lot of his time in the forest, playing and having fun. Sometimes he met other foxes. Some he liked and played with.
Others he argued with. But he always had a great time.

Vania padded along in the forest. Sniffing the air, she looked around. There seemed to be no prey anywhere near, but there was a fox. She crept slowly around the thickets of grass, incase the fox was dangerous. Hesitantly, shee looked. It was a red, green, and yellow kit! She grinned and walked over to him. "Hi!", she squeaked.

While still playing Dimitri suddenly hears a voice. He turns around and looks into the eyes of a beautiful kit. "Erm, hi there!" he said, still staring into her eyes. "My name is Dimitri. Who are you?"

"I'm Vania," she said. Looking around, she saw no other foxes. And he didn't seem to be in a tribe either. " How come you're here by yourself, and you got no tribe?"

Dimitri looked confused. He had seen her tribe tattoo. But still he couldn't image she was happy in there. And he also couldn't think of why she didn't understand his reasons. It probably would be best to explain. Perhaps I can knock some sense into her...
"I have decided not to be in a tribe at this age." he started talking. "Everyone there constantly runs after you, looking over you shoulder to see what you are doing. You have no freedom. I want to be free. And I have no known family. But I can easily manage on my own. Perhaps when I am older and more matured I'll join a tribe. Now, why the heck are you in a tribe?"

"Well, becuase my mom and dad are in one. So I had to go in too! Everyone's real nice though, and you cna do almost anything you want!," Vania explained. She pounced on him and said," You're it!," while running away.

Dimitri liked this crazy young girl. So he immediately started chasing her. After a while he managed to pounch her back. "You're it now!" he yelled and then he ran away as quickly as he could.

Vania grinned and was about to chase him, when she grew dizzy. She closed her eyes as the world grew dark for a few moments. And, when she opened her eyes, she felt taller. And fluffier, and stronger! Feeling herself with her tail, she realized what happened. She grew up! wondering if Dinitri grew up, she went to chase and find him.
