there really isn't a thing on the sub-forums as to whether it's male or female. if you start a post about the male fashions, i'm sure it would catch on. i don't know a lot about those, though, so i leave it up to you.

the thing is western japanese fashion fans don't tend to look as wonderful crossdressing. That is why I want some threads on men's styles. Like punk-loli or EGA! there should be a japanese punk/punkloli subforum! Punk is a lot different in Japan than it is in america.

Maybe like a visual kei style subforum would be better, because not all of it is just punk. There's aristocrat and dandy, and then both male and female fashion could be included in it. Also, cause probably there wouldn't be like 80 new sections added at once (crossdressing, punk, aristocrat, dandy, etc...) it would sort of be a catch-all until other ones start existing.
Oh, and cause basically all of men's Harajuku-ish fashion is Jrock-inspired...
But whatever. Mainly, I just like the idea of having a male fashion subforum.

I think since it's so much harder to find male fashion, a plain "male Japanese fashion" subforum would suffice quite nicely.

If there was a male only section we would then have to make seperate sections for each style the men dress in.
Bou is not a cross dresser, I don't want to sound angry or a know-it-all but J-rock artists that dress in a female atire are not reconized as cross dressers. Has anyone heard about the incedent in 1996 with Mana, that was some harsh stuff.
Punk would go under the Gothic section, although you do have a point Japanese punk is getting more popular. The reason most people put punk within the gothic style is because one of the top styles of punk that people aren't scared of is Lolita Punk, which is more moe-ish. I can post some pictures if people want to see them.
Visual-kei would be under Gothic, since most Gothic styles had gotten insperation from visual-kei artists or the clothing was made/designed by visual-kei artists. Also Arisocrat and Dandy or both Gothic styles.
If someone makes a well informed thread about Dandy or Onii-kei within there respective section they will most likely be made official.
"Oh, and cause basically all of men's Harajuku-ish fashion is Jrock-inspired..." Oh really? have you seen a Sentaa Gai before or Gyaru-oh or Onii-kei or Raver? Also there is no such thing as a united Harajuku fashion. You can see all three types of fashions with in Harajuku.
