Diae listened to the small bell jingle as he pushed the door open to the Stationary Shop, allowing himself to fall into the warmed room as his bare feet padded against the floor. Sie, now dedicated as old enough to babysit his younger sibling, followed in tow with curiosity upon his brow. Under any normal circumstance, had Sie not been there, Diae would not have stepped one foot into the establishment. But the tale merely sucked it in and looked around the shop. "Hellooo?"

Diae turned to his brother with a large smile as he heard his own voice reverberate off the walls. But, upon seeing the confusion on Sie's face he felt like he had to explain something. After all, it was Diae who directed them here. "I'no you can speak, but dis is where Mu founded me." Diae explained in a proud voice he normally didn't hold. His brother's eyes narrowed.

"Eu posso falar, você apenas não posso compreender o que eu estou dizendo." Sie muttered out in an accented tongue. The eldest sibling sighed, slapping palm to face.

From the opposite direction, a gloomy young Tale dragged his feet along with an expression like he had chores to be done once he reached his destination. The breeze moving through his stark white hair seemed to be the only lively thing about him as his cool blue gaze stared blankly ahead.

In contrast, his new caretaker, Nina, trotted along at his side like a beam of sunshine. She wouldn't admit it to the young boy, but it was mostly a show to try and lift his spirits... and maybe to annoy him just a bit.

"Oh cheer up, you gloomy gus. You might make a new friend at the cake shop."

Looking back at the blonde feline like she was some kind of crazy woman, Ayden replies, "You're goin' wiff me to the Stationary place." Looking away again, showing he had become very much annoyed, he grumbles on, "an' I don't need friends. There's jus' gonna be lil' Tales there anyways..."

Slowing her gait to walk behind him, the young woman holds up his hair in two ponytails and explains, "Maybe we should do your hair up in some pretty red bows. I'm sure you'll find a bestest boyfriend while you're there!"

Feeling the reddness catch his cheeks, the dark skinned tail wriggles out from his author's grasp and sprints to the shop's door. "I'll go! I'll go! Jus' don't follow me!!"

"Have fun!" she tells him cheerfully with a tiny wave while the boy nearly slams the door behind him and presses his back to it like he had just avoided a predator.

"Watch, Momma! Watch!" The succubus called excitedly, running her fingers through her hair for an added visual effect as it changed from black and purple to bright orange and white. It grew long and curly as well, fading from orange to brown as it curled. This was so cool! Kea giggled excitedly and clapped her hands, looking up when Eight clapped as well with a big smile on her face.

"Wonderful! You're getting so much better at it now!" Eight cheered. "Let's hurry to the store now, we can get a journal for you." Keaira's wings flapped a few times, sending a loose feather or two drifting to the ground behind her. She could see it now! The succubus clapped her hands together and started running just as another child went running into the door. Eight blinked and watched from where she was, walking slower behind Kea. Angry child? His parent didn't seem to be following...hey wait! She knew that kid!

"Hi th--" The girl screeched when the door was slammed in her face, nearly slamming into the thing. What the heck was this boy's problem?! Didn't he know it was rude to slam doors in people's faces?! Keaira pouted, her hair turning bright red and spikey, stomping her foot on the ground once to calm herself down. Maybe he didn't see her. Glancing back to make sure her mother was still following, Kea ruffled her hair with her own hands until it was black and purple again the way it always was, carefully pushing the door open afterwards with as much force as she'd need. "Hellooooo~?"

Blue ambled slowly along the sidewalk, poking desultorily at the curb with a stick he had found. He had managed to slip out of the house and shake loose of his family for the moment, finding himself in an arbitrarily solitary mood. But the mood hadn't lasted long, and he rather wished he hadn't gone out alone. He could have brought one of the zurui. Or Neira. Then he'd have a bit of company.

He glanced up. Oh, there was the Stationery Store. Maybe someone would be there - in fact, someone was there, at the door. He paused, then approached, watching the little girl shove hard at the door to push it open. Her dress was awfully nice, he observed.
