Registering for a Breeding
To register for a breeding, you may post in this thread to claim one when slots are open. When you post, please include which dragon you are registering, and who the mate will be. If not a Mystery Mate breeding, the owner of your dragon's mate will also have to post to okay the breeding.
At the moment slots will be given by raffling from all the posted couples once breeding has closed. Once it has been confirmed that you have a slot, please post here to let us know which of our breeders you would like to select. At this point you should send your trade(s) for the breeding, which is 4k for each dragon.
We will process the request, and post the eggs. At this point you should let us know who will be owning each egg, and we will tag them.

Selecting Breeding OptionsThe Dragon Rookery Association provides a number of options for wizards interested in breeding their dragons, so they may get the kinds of offspring best suited to their goals and desires. BreedersYou will be asked to select a breeder when you register for a breeding slot, since the city has several highly qualified breeders. Breeders Raine Ferrier: A talented young woman who manages the Emerald Scale rookery on the outskirts of the city. Offspring have a high chance of having the combined elemental affinity of the parents. Arron Ayan: A wealthy young man who proudly owns the largest dragon rookery in the city, the Gilded Nestery. Offspring have a high chance of having two elemental affinities. Sigwarin Eterin: An elderly wizard who retired from magical study to run the West-Road Wyrmery. Offspring have a high chance of having similar but non-identical elemental affinities to the parents. Murrey Black: A mysterious man who runs a dark, nameless shop in the more run down neighborhood. Offspring have a high chance of inheriting the elemental affinity of a parent. Mystery MateIf you do not have a particular mate in mind but still want to register your dragon for a breeding, every breeder above will offer a Mystery Mate service. You can select the Mystery Mate option when you claim a breeding slot. If you get the slot you only pay 4k to breed your dragon with one owned by the breeder, and you will receive one egg. The mate will be random, so your offspring will have some surprise colours, affinities, and traits.

ResourcesThe Dragon Rookery Association realizes how important dragons are to their wizards study and research, so we provide a number of resources available to wizards looking to increase their options for dragon egg aquisition. Egg ExchangeBreeding dragons can have a lot of benefits, but breeding more dragons with the same elemental affinity provide no additional benefit for a wizard. The Egg Exchange service allows wizards get in contact with other wizards who would be interested in trading eggs from breedings. If you would like to be included in this service, please complete the form below and post it here. Your form will be posted here, so others can see what you are looking for and get in touch with you to arrange trades. The Dragon Rookery Association will not arrange trades for you, nor does it guarantee a breeding for both people who have arranged a trade, this service is simply to facilitate contact between wizards who are interested in trading.
