Kyrin had taken one of Jaydn’s cars up to the upper part of the city. It seemed like it would be dangerous for her to be up there, being the daughter of Han and all. She knew, though, as long as she stayed on the right side of the law, they would give her little to no trouble at all. Once the car let her out, the man driving handed her a small handgun, which she quickly hid away in the waist line of her skirt, covered up nicely by her shirt. She went to her favorite store, one that specialized in both men and woman’s dress clothes. She looked through some of the racks, smiling at the feel of the fabric in her fingers. She had been there about twenty minutes when she had already found a new shirt and two new skirts.

Miles was still talking on the line as he got into a car in front of the mansian, and the driver held it open for him. On the headset, he continued asking frivilous questions that he already knew the answer to and making comments of dissapointments, while smiling to himself at hearing the rookie give strained replies and clearly sweating himself a storm. Miles knew it was a rookie, because anyone else on the other end would have knew he was just messing with them and laugh, saying, "Cut the s**t, Miles."

He had arrived and got out at an intersection that had brand name stores on each corner. After talking loud enough for all the passerbys to think that he must be someone important, he hung up and decided on where to go first. He was attracted to stores that had well known names, but there was a particular store that he would make an exception for. It's high quality clothes were worth taking a look at every once in a while.
He went to men's department, finding all the shirts and ties that complimented him. He asked a few of the female workers around if a certain shirt was right for him, and liked to see them embarassingly admit that it was, and they'd be able to ring it up for him. As the young lady at the register put his clothes into bags, he spied a familiar face by the women's clothes.

He waited for his change and decided to walk up to her. It didn't matter who it was, but if he recognized someone outside of a workplace, he would have to acknowledge to that person that he also was around in the area. It kind of established to that person that they were on safe turf if they were an ally, and on dangerous territory if they were an enemy.
"We meet again, Miss Kyrin."

Holding the new shirt and skirts in one hand, Kyrin had been fishing through the racks. When she saw a figure walk up she looked up. She didn’t recognize his voice at first, but once she saw his face, she realized that he was the man from the kitchen. She had admired the attention that he commanded when he had entered the kitchen for the first time. ”Hello,” she said softly. What was his name again? She pulled at her mind for the name but it wasn’t coming to her. The sudden realization that his name had never been mentioned hit her and she was slightly ashamed for not knowing it. By his attitude, though, Kyrin figured the man to be a bit of an egotist because of how he had presented himself. He reminded her of most of the men in her family in that way. Knowing how to hurt the men in her family, or at least poke fun at them was one of her strengths, and if this man was anything like the Matsui men, then her next statement might catch him off guard slightly.

”And you are?”

Miles refrainced a wince.
Well, they hadn't been properly introduced after all. He could hardly expect her to keep track of men in her cousin's mafia. She had her own to deal with after all...even if it didn't quite run as smoothly as the Coyotes.
" Miles Morózov. Pleasure to meet you." he said it offering his hand.
It was important to make a good first impression, in case she didn't pay him mind before (It was an irritating idea, but couldn't be helped in some cases).
" You have refined taste coming here." It was almost a compliment to himself as well as Kyrin.

”Ah,” Kyrin said as he told her his name, ”Its nice to meet you as well, Miles.” She took the proffered hand. Kyrin liked his name, but instead of commenting on it, she was intrigued by what he said next. I do have good taste. She thought with a smile. Kyrin noticed what Miles was wearing and her smiled continued. ”Your taste isn’t bad yourself.” She paused a minute, ”But I do hope you weren’t taking fashion advice from the women here. They tend not to know what they are talking about.” Lifting a tube top off the rack, she examined the fabric.

Miles slightly laughed.
She was indeed a Matsui. She was teasing him, but was that a hint that she had been watching him? He wouldn't deny that he was a bit boitrous.
"I don't mind. I like dressing for women." It was a partial lie. He mostly only wore what he himself felt classy, and if women liked it, it was an added bonus.
He noticed that she seemed quite alone here in the store. There was a severe lack of men watching over her, except for maybe if a car was waiting for her out front. A bit risky for Han's daughter.
A bit quiter, he asked, "You didn't bring any of your boys with you?"

Kyrin smiled at his remark about dressing for women and then Kyrin's eyes became confused as she said in a voice just as low as his, while she examined another shirt, "My boys?" Kyrin didn't technically have 'boys' She had when she was younger, but once she turned eighteen, she had gotten her father not not have them follow her around all the time anymore. Kyrin had, for over a year, been wandering around the upper part of the city out in the open, and hadn't in that time had very much trouble. She had a few incidents, but they were immediately fixed. Boys... Kyrin thought to herself. She wouldn't take Draven around with her, especially not shopping, He may think it as a date. She also wouldn't take Ian. She may take Jamie, but since he had left the room, she didn't. She had thought for a minute to take Nori, but Nori seemed preoccupied in conversation, as had Xavier. Jaydn had been in a bad mood and Kyrin didn't think in any way that he would want to go with her.

She laughed, and got close to his face, whispering very low into his ear, "I don't have any boys, but I can protect myself just fine." A grin spread across her face.

He grinned at her boldness, and casually pulled a hankercheif from his pocket to wipe down his glasses(which didn't need the cleaning, but it was habit). He stared at her through the dark around his eyes, which seemed to shine brighter when not masked by the expensive accesory. How very fitting. How very obvious. She doesn't want to be underestimated. But perhaps she shouldn't underestimate her enemies.

"Then without offense, Miss Kyrin, allow me to escort you." He said softly, places the glasses back around his eyes. "I'm sure circumstance would have us going to the same places anyhow." His hands moved swiftly to carry the things in her arms. Kyrin might either be annoyed by his assertiveness, or pleased to have a consort, but he didn't mind taking the risk, since she seemed to have an interest in him.

Kyrin smiled at his grin and tried, in her head, to figure out what exactly he was grinning about. But when he took off his glasses that interest was wiped from mind as she couldn’t help but think, Not too bad. She almost thought that she should feel bad about it, but she rationalized it for herself by the fact that her and Craig weren’t really an item. Besides, it wasn’t cheating to look…and perhaps wonder. Kyrin watched him take the clothes from her hands, but as she hadn’t been expecting the move, she didn’t even have time to react to it right away. Her first reaction, though subtle, was shock but then her mind moved a little towards offense. She didn’t show it. A smug grin played across her lips, as she weighed him. He certainly knows his way around. She wasn’t sure if he was being genuine, but he sure seemed like he was; besides, having a personal body guard, or escort as he put it, for the day would be interesting. Especially since the body guard was someone like him.

Her thoughts had taken her away in some sort of girlish fantasy, perhaps one with a white horse and a castle. Suddenly the sight of him holding her clothes caught her off guard, as if she had woken from a dream. Wait! What the hell am I doing!? I don’t need an escort. The Matsui family, by nature, were proud, and Kyrin was definitely not an exception. Kyrin’s eyes drifted to his bags and then she looked him in the eyes, ”It seems that you’re done though and I’ve only just started. I’m sure you are a very busy man.” She responded, again playing off his egotism.

Too well...she knows too well how to tease me.
Miles answered immediatly, with a grin that didn't seem to leave his face at her responses. "I'm not quite as busy as I'd like to be." He said honestly. Miles didn't want to give off the vibes that he was complaining. Especially since it was in bad form to comment on his boss' way of doing things in front of his cousin. "But I suppose if Jaydn let me have my way with things, we would be working in our deathbeds." Although Miles honestly wished that he could work in his deathbed...

He gave her an assuring look. It was almost an art, and he knew just how to play it up. With the way she was looking at him, he was ready to give it an artist's signature. "I have plenty of time."
He then gestured to his hands. "Besides, now I'm holding your clothes hostage."

Kyrin watched Miles as he spoke and wondered how much he was really into his work. It seemed like quite a lot, but then again Kyrin couldn’t help but think that he was just putting on a show. A show..or he really is that full of himself. She thought smugly. The fact that he had just told her that he would rather work all the time, but had plenty of time confused her, so she said nothing about it. Kyrin shifted in her spot, and then, never taking her eyes off him, she walked around the clothes rack and said, ”I can always get more.” She said with a low laugh, ”I’m sure they have more of those in my size.” A smile spread across her face. It was fun, like a game she hadn’t played in quite a while.

The fact that she was resisting him so much just seem to convince Miles more that she was enjoying his company. Whispering in his ear, grinning at silent inside jokes,...If he had meant nothing to her, then she wouldn't be playing cat and mouse so fiercly. It was very much to his advantages if someone with power threaded a friendship with him (and a bit of an ambitious hobby)... Not to mention it just fevered his ego to be around flirty women.

Being around lovely-faced women was normal for Miles, so he wasn't particularly drawn toKyrin, it was just the way he always responded to females: to make them feel beautiful and flattered. So consiquently, girls got caught up in his foolish lead-ons, which evolved into one-sided love, in turn being ruined relationships; extinguished by Miles' own selfishness. All his past relationships weren't really much of relationships at all, as far as Miles was concerned. They were just fun rendezvous' made of false pretenses and of broken hearts. But to Miles, nothing of value was lost.

He watched Kyrin weave around the clothes rack, not breaking the eye contact. She was 4 years his junior, but he still felt so much older, especially with her hard-to-get play. She needed a back-up, and he needed something to do, so he wouldn't pass the opportunity.
"Well then, Miss Kyrin, instead of being an escort, think of it as a friendly date. I'd also be more than happy to take you to lunch later if you become fond enough of my company."

As Miles stopped flirting with her and turned to seeming more business like, Kyrin lost her interest in flirting with him as well. It was fun, and he was cute, but if he wasn’t interested in playing the game, Ky wasn’t going to do it one sided. She let out a soft sigh and asked politely for her articles of clothing back. ”I’m going to finish my shopping first, then, if you don’t mind.” She said, as she searched through the rack in front of her and found a nice halter top. She was no longer keeping her eyes in contact with him, ”If you have the time then you can hang around, but you don’t need to think that I need you to.”

Ha...She really is naive.
He smirked. Because of his assertiveness, it seemed he was back at ground zero in an instant. It was funny to see her reaction, since she wasn't so persuadible like other girls. He wasn't deterred however.
Miles gently handed her back the clothes and watched as she picked through clothes to buy. He didn't want to push it, so he didn't open his mouth much, except for small comments on the clothes she held up. It was fun to be a bit of a thorn in her side, because of the way she was acting earlier, but he didn't want to give off insensitivity to her feelings. So he idled behind her, not as serious as he usually would (since she didn't actually need protection in this part of town), but he was observing his boss' cousin with interest, occasionally catching her eye.

Speaking of Jaydn... "I heard there was an uproar in the mansion this morning." he remarked casually. Now that his first impression was pretty much over, he might as well start up conversation about what was really on his mind. Pushing his glasses up, he continued, "Hope it's not too troublesome to have so many people around the place. We bring a lot of burdens with us." Which was to say, there will probably be more illigal activities to take place with the Coyotes around. Perhaps it was a half appology.
