i have this design i want to make but i cant find a pattern similiar to it and im not capable of making my own patterns...its a shirt/jacket thing with buttons down the front..chinese style ..im not good with descriptions but maybe you get the idea..i dont want it to be off really stretchy material ..

anyone have any tips on how i can go about doing this?...
im new to sewing and havent ever made a shirt without a pattern before

well i finished it now and it came out okay and so i have a tip for anyone else who tries to attempt this:

dont do it on a stretch stitch at first if u are going to mess up xp
i had to rip out the stitch and it took forever and made runs and holes >.<
pain in the arse..so do it on one that comes out easily and then go over it...
