Okay, easily one of the best movies ever - it may be older than I (and most of the other members, too) am, yet there's no way a remake could be any better than the original. Anyone else like it? Favorite character?

I keep meaning to check if vol. 2 has come out yet, but I keep forgetting. I've read the first one though - Moulin is funny. ^^

I like the part where their all at the Ball/Party and what all is said. I want vol. 2 to come out now if its not and to get it if it has. Either way I can't wait, because I want to know if the sister comes to get her brother back again.
~You know when I first found the movie and I watched it I laughted at the whole movie because I thought it was funny. Sad thing is I didn't get the whole 'I will give you a wish and/if stay with me (bow down to me) in the ending type thing'. Until my mother say I was an idiot if I had watched like 100 times and didn't know the reason he gave her a wish and danced with her (and tried to make her the princess). My mother said it was because he was in love with her but her will and "kingdom" was too strong and she wouldn't bow down to him so that stopped the whole love thing there.
I ended up looking like this after I found that bit of info out ----> @.@u "Oh.." that was all I could say.... sweatdrop

Hmm...can't really say whether I understood it at first or not, really. I have this continual habit of watching the same exact movie/show every night for at least a week before I watch something else, so I guess I just learned the details piece-by-piece.
A couple months ago I read the book that went along with the movie - it explains things a little more clearly.

Hehee Funny I do the same thing only its more than a week more like two in half weeks or something.......people hate when I do that. (Very funny thing is my mother will yell at me to stop that but...she does the same thing. She just doesn't know it yet!) xd

Around when I was nine, my brother and I would take turns choosing movies each night, and there's a few we got stuck on...one's I remember most are: Labyrinth, Winnie the Pooh (original movie), The Real Macaw, and the Digimon movie. Most recent MOVIE addiction (and still running) is Advent Children - I watched it every night for a month straight - and I watch it once every one-two weeks now.
Unless something's really funny or well put together, my Mom doesn't watch things twice or more in a row. She might rewatch something a month or so later, but overall...she doesn't complain about (most of) my weird habits, though.

I used to be scared of the Labryinth when I was little. I don't know why. Then my friends forced me to watch it a few months ago, and now I'm cured! I love that movie so much! It moved me. It inspired a story of mine, that I ended up throwing away because I can't write! But it still sparked a great idea. But we won't go into that.

This movie has such a weird culty following. I saw it on TV when I was young and impressionable, and sort of left it to fester in the back of my mind for a while, and when I finally semi-remembered seeing it and tried to describe it to people, they never knew what I was talking about. Not strange considering that my description was something like 'well, there's this guy, and he's like...king of the evil muppets or something, and he kidnaps this girls little brother, and there's some singing...and a peach of doom...and then he turns into an owl at the end.' After a while I thought I'd made the whole thing up, until someone finally was like 'Oh yeah, that weird movie!'
Anyway. I do like it, though I can't say I consider it very high on my 'best movie' list. I think I like the concept more than the movie itself- something that happens far more often than you might think. My favorite part is that there is glitter all over the Labyrinth. Like, David Bowie is just prancing around with glitter cannisters throwing it everywhere and singing.

He could have done with some junk protection. Codpiece maybe. Would have saved me some mental scarring later in life.
