Hey everybody. I myself am a writer, and am constantly writing things down. From poetry to short stories to maybe a novel ( coming soon I hope x3 ). I've been using lots of Lolita influences in my writing lately, and I was wondering if there was anybody out there who does the same.

So if you want, please post pieces of writing that are inspired by Lolita/Victorian/Rococo/Vintage themes, by yourself or by other people. If by somebody else, please give credit and maybe a link to where you found it. Thank-you. ^-^

( This is my first post, so please don't hurt me if it's in the wrong space or anything. ;_; )

Thank-you, Hugs and Kisses, Best of Wishes To Everybody,

Note: This is actually from a rpg thread at a site called Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. And this does belong to me since I wrote it. It's not quite finished.

"Mrew?"

Melodie swiveled around her desk chair and looked down at her ankles. A little tawny kitten was rubbing against Melodie's leg, most likely begging for attention. She bent down and petted the little fur ball. "Poor baby..." she thought then turned back to her desk and her homework. While Melodie was working on a foot and a half of parchment on Arithmancy, she hummed a little jazzy tune. She could hear an accompaniment of acoustic guitars strumming, a bass guitar being plucked, pizz strings playing, then a strong, bossa-nova like beat joining the tune. Melodie smiled and continued to write until her hand grew sore.

"Wha....?" thought Melodie. She looked over to her silver clock on the bedstand, it read: 6:54. "I didn't think I was doing homework that long...it's only been over two hours...at least I don't have atronomy...." she muttered to herself. Melodie often talked to herself or said her thoughts aloud when no one was around. She sat straight and twisted her neck enough to make a 'crick' sound, and felt better after two long hours of stiffness. "Mom's right...I should sit straight..." she thought and returned to her work while stiffling a yawn.

The clock slowly ticked...tocked... the minutes away as Melodie was finishing up what was left of her report. She dropped her quil and blew onto the yellowing parchment to dry off the ink. A sigh narrowly escaped her mouth after skimming over the theses. There was a lot to read and proof-read, but Melodie just felt that when she's done, she's done. Melodie got up again and kicked off the pair of Vivienne Westwood's rocking horse shoes and paced herself around the room. Her eyes layed on the silver clock which read: 7:28. The dorms around her were quiet and there was a lack of light left from her windows told her that the sun was about to set. Her stomach began to make some music on its own. "Hmm..."

Melodie opened up her chiffinier to see how she appeared and realized that she didn't bother changing out of her uniform. She then took a quick shower and returned to her chiffiner to find something to wear then thought about getting something quick to eat. She pulled on one of her blue sweet lolita dresses that she had rescently designed and sewed. To a western perspective, it would look like something from Alice in Wonderland...which was something Melodie wanted to portray. She slipped on her pair of rocking horse shoes again, grabbed her bunny purse, and closed the door behind her.

"Tip....tap, tippy, tap, tap..

With an innocent giggle, Melodie smiled as she heard her shoes made tapping noise to join the bossa-nova like song that was stuck in her head earlier. Melodie continued to walk and smile as people passed by her and probably wondered why one would wear such thing or admire how pretty her sweet lolita dress looked. Other students ignored Melodie's way of dressing because they've seen her many times before in something like that. Nonetheless, Melodie acted polite as normal and simply explained that it was a fad in Japan. She knew very well that it was more than a fad, it was a part of her, and if one asked a lolita fashion follower, they'd say it's a lifestyle. Even though Melodie could hear a buzzing of students from the dining hall ahead of her, she was concentrating hard on her thoughts.

The buzzing of students grew louder as she entered the Dining Chamber and sat herself down at the Cossu Table. She sighed and thought that she shouldn't have worn a special outfit to eat dinner "It's not the Palace of Versaille...." Melodie thought. "Maybe I should have worn casual lolita...oh well, I'll be in my pj's soon...I'll just try not to get any food on the dress..." An empty, chinese porcialien bowl appeared in front of Melodie. Pop! A hot mixture of Coq au Vin (Chicken stew) appeared in her bowl. She grabbed a small English roll and ate her soup, until there was only a little left around the rim of the bowl. Melodie was in the mood for sweet treats and desserts, but abandoned the idea since she was already full. Melodie hestitated to get up and left the buzzing of students in the dining chambers.

Melodie could hear the faint buzzing of students and her own foot steps tapping in the echoes of the nearly empty corridors. She thought about going to her own room, but almost abandoned the idea after the moving stair cases took to her to an unknown chamber. She felt somewhat nervous, but excited when she was taken to the dark and mysterious area of the Palace. "I've never been here before..." Melodie thought aloud. She spun around and looked back to the well lit corridors, but looked back to the general direction. Melodie gulped and walked slowly forward; she could see some well lit torches ahead of her and grinned to see light. "Maybe...I can sleep later...."

'Tap...tip, tap...tap, tip..' Rain water droplets echoed the empty corridors and created an almost eerie effect in Melodie's mind. She grew excited and held onto her wand tight as she took another turn. Her curiousity gave away when she gazed at herself at a full length mirror. Melodie's reflection smiled back at her and gave her a cheshire cat like grin. Out of curiousity, Melodie got closer to her reflection; the reflection grinned almost maliciously and grabbed Melodie's arm. Her eyes were wide with fear as she felt the arm grab and pull Melodie into the other side.

All of the sudden, Melodie was quickly falling into the dark abyss of the mirror world. Her heart was beating as fast as a humming bird's wings; her eyes grew large with gripping fear; she spun around and around like a child's toy top; and her arms flailed around as Melodie tried to find her way through the darkness. But she kept falling until she hit the light seen at the end of the abyss. WOOSH! Melodie felt as if she was sucked in by a vaccuum and felt numb all over when she went through the nauseatingly, colourful wormhole. The song that had played in her head became real and while traveling through the wormhole, she could actually hear it. A blinding wave of light flashed before Melodie's eyes and she was transported to another demention.

As she entered the other demention, Melodie realized that she was now floating as if in zero gravity, but felt a slight breeze flying passed her and playing with her skirt. Melodie opened her eyes and found herself in a gigantic white room with literally, thousands of colourful, spinning flowers decorating the walls. Melodie did a double take and saw a white platform below her. As she pretended to be in an airplane, Melodie propelled herself into the air and pinpointed her landing spot. She was still somewhat floating as she landed on the platform island. From a short distance, Melodie could hear giggling that sounded almost like her own. She bit her lip and slowly walked towards the giggling.

"Oh my...." Melodie thought. The same girl that pulled Melodie into her world was sitting at a white wicker table and serving tea to life-sized, moving, and talking stuffed animals. There was a pink rabbit with a heart-shaped eye patch and a panda bear with an oversized bow on top. Melodie stared at the sight. The girl turned to Melodie's direction and Melodie stared at her too: it was Melodie's own reflection. Her reflection got up and walked towards Melodie, who wanted to freak out, and said in a child-like voice, "Oh, would you like to have some tea with my friends and I?" Melodie's eyes grew wide and gulped, not sure what to do or say, but nodded and followed the girl to the tea table.

The life-sized Panda and Black Bear gave Melodie a wave in greeting, then the pink bunny got up from its seat and bent down on one knee, took her hand in it's paw, and kissed it. Feeling slightly uncomfortable, Melodie giggled with the other hand over her mouth and blushed. The rabbit stood back up, waved its paws around, causing a chair to appear out of thin air, then motioned Melodie to sit down. She bit her lip and sat down while thanking the pink rabbit. The rabbit returned to sit across Melodie and appeared troubled. She looked up from her lap and noticed the girl was scowling at Melodie, then in a simpering voice, "So, what brings you here....?" Melodie bit her lip again, not knowing exactly where to start or what to even say. "Um, well, I was, I was heading to my dorm, but the moving staircases took me to this dark hallway. And, um, I walked through the hallway until I saw this huge mirror. After taking a good look at myself, then I saw my reflection moving by itself, er, herself, and she grabbed my arm...and now I'm here," she explained and ended with a sigh.

It was all utterly confusing because the girl who pulled Melodie in was her own reflection and that girl was sitting right in front of her. But then, why was the girl acting like she didn't know what was going on? These and many more thoughts continued to cloud her mind while being served tea by blue penguins. When the penguins arrived, Melodie woke up from her thoughts and she giggled at how cute they appeared. One of the penguins sat a toy like tray of a toy like tea set in front of Melodie. They reminded her of her own tea set in her closet that she once used with Faith. The second penguin came along with an oversized tea pot and gracefully poured tea into the little, pastel cup. The third arrived with a tray of decadent little cakes and placed them on the tea plates, amazingly, without ruining the frosting. "I wonder how they do all that with flippers...aw, kawaii." she thought, then thanked the penguins that served her.

The pink rabbit appeared to be gazing longingly to Melodie, perhaps sympathizing her. She looked up to the rabbit across of her and gave it an assuring smile, then looked down at her plate. A small, white cake with a strawberry on top sat so perfectly on her pastel plate, so perfect that Melodie wasn't sure weather to eat it or not; for it appeared too beautiful, she didn't want to ruin it's perfection.

I love to write, but surprisingly nothing lolita.

I write more period pieces, that take place around the time of the Victorian era, durring a time of aristocracy... but its more of an alternate world, and I'm always writing about low-class people.

Some of the clothes my characters wear are slightly lolita-ish, with some ruffles and ribbons and stuff. But nothing modern day lolita.

I don't think I have ever written anything lolitaish though Ido have an idea that has been bubbling up there in my head recently. I have had some serious writers block type problems so doing some lolitaish writing exercises might get my swing back. If I do do any lolita writing I’ll be sure to post a reply here with it.

My writing can be summed up in the same way Blackberry Sage has put it. Lolita is an influence on some aspects of my writing, depending on the subject. I know for certain Lolita and the Victorian Era has had an influence on one of my stories. That story just so happens to be a fanfiction about none other than Alice in Wonderland, so you can see how it ties in to Lolita. ^__^

I haven't actually written anything Lolita yet, but I have the urge to. Only, all my things are at home, and I won't be home for about another week.. sweatdrop

The Lolita Literary Lines are Blurring

I have a chaptered story so obviously I'm not going to post the whole thing, but I can post a little bit of it. If I get good reviews from you guys, I might make a freewebs site for it.

Main parts of Dulcie's outfit: Dress Head

Opening the door, you could tell there was something different about this girl. The room was an antique green, with lace curtains on both windows. Her daybed sat under one window, the white iron frame shining brightly. Homemade quilts and clothes were hung around her sewing machine, giving the room a dash of lively colour. This place looked like it was taken straight out of a Victorian book but I was the only one who knew that this was her Sanctuary.
~|~
The first time I saw Dulcie, we all thought it would be a normal day. When the door opened and the principal escorted her in, no one spoke. Her all-white dress stuck out from her body on all sides, despite all the lace decorating it. Her legs were covered in tights, the kind you expected to see on an infant. None of this, though, caught my eye as much as her face. Her cubby face was surrounded by a thick mass of beautiful chestnut curls and looked like it belonged on a child model. Floating on top of the sea of curls was a doily-looking thing, with ribbons falling from one side.
"I didn't know it was Halloween already," the boyd next to me whispered. The whole room filled with laughter, but I couldn't hear any of it, it was like I was caught under a spell. I was jealous. I also had a chubby face, dotted with the occational acne that came with being 17. My short blonde hair curled slightly around my face, a very boring style, but easy to take care of.
The new girl walked over to the opposite side of the room as me and as she turned to sit, our blue eyes met and she flashed a smile that could blind. I smiled back slightly, embarrised, then turned back to my notebook out of habit.

Well, that's the first little bit of it, not exactly a whole chapter but a decently sized section of it. Creative critism is greatly welcomed and cherished.

That's really cool. I love the introduction to the class, and how you're looking at a Loli through completely unaccustomed eyes.

Yeah, I'm trying to take the two sides of me, split them up into two different people and see how they would react to each other. It is fun.

Hi again! [waves] The writers block is going away, but I need alittle help. A friend and I are working on a lolita magical girl comic, she is illustrating and I am writting. She doesn't know much about lolita so I have been helping her out showing her stuff and trying to sum up some of the styles. However I had a question about Shiro Lolita, is it ABSOLUTLY all white, or might there be some silver or other light colored detailing and is there any inpaticular silhouette or is just the color the factor. Also I am putting together a disk for her to use as refrence with pictures and information on different loli styles. I am having the most trouble finding pictures of wa-loli and aristocrate. If you can suggest any good pics we would be very thankful.
Good Day. smile
