About Experience Points: Experience points correspond to how much closer a shinobi get to promotion. That doesn't mean once they reach the ammount that they automaticly become the next rank. It means they are ceritifed for it. Nothing more, nothing less. When you do reach that ammount, it depends on your superior to recommend you for testing or the promotion. After that it's up to you to past said testing.
EXAMPLES:
Academy Student - Points + Recommendation + Test
Genin - Points + Recommendation + Test
Chuunin - Points + Recommendation + Kage Approval
Jounin - Points + Recommendation + Kage Approval
These points can be gained by learning jutsu, training, sparring, or missions. Missions and jutsu will have their respective points listed to how difficult they are. Points from sparring and training will be the Kage's decision. Said Kage will always have to update the experience points for everyone in their village, and the shinobi are responsible for updating their stats.

Stat points are used to represent the shinobi's ability in a specific category. There will be five of these categories, and how long you learn jutsu will rely on these. These are the categories.
Strength:
Speed:
Chakra:
Intelligence:
Luck:
You can divide the points anyway you want between the categories, but they all have to equal up to your total stat points.
