‹ About Zeltrons ›Appearance › Zeltrons are a near-Human species, made physically distinctive by their skin, which came in different shades of red ranging from almost white to pink to deep red. Additionally, Zeltrons’ hair also come in an array of colors, from black, to blue, and occasionally even yellow. Most of them are considered highly attractive by Human, near-Human, and even humanoid standards.
Zeltrons are known to dress in wildly colorful or revealing attire. It is common to see Zeltrons wearing shockingly bright shades of neon colors in wildly designed bikinis, or nearly skin tight clothing of other sorts with bizarre color designs, patterns, and symbols.
History and Culture › Zeltrons are one of the few near-Human races who have differentiated from the baseline stock enough to be considered a new species of the Human genus, rather than simply a subspecies. They possess three biological traits of note. The first is that all can produce pheromones, similar to the Falleen species, which further enhance their attractiveness. The second is the ability to project emotions onto others, creating a type of control. The third trait is their empathic ability, allowing them to read and even feel the emotions of others. For this reason, love, comfort, happiness, and pleasure are extremely important to them. Sharing positive emotions is deemed to everyone’s benefit, while sharing negative emotions like anger, fear, or depression is generally shunned.
As a result, Zeltros has experienced few tyrants, because they cannot commit atrocities without feeling another’s pain. Zeltros has, however, been invaded twelve times in the past six centuries, but because of the Zeltrons’ pheromones, most invaders have given up their hostile intentions and joined in the nonstop planetary festivities. Hence, Zeltrons don’t worry about such trivial matters as planetary defenses or military forces. They are able fighters, though, and they stay in peak physical conditions at all times. Their incredible metabolisms allowed them to eat even the richest of foods without adverse effects on their health.
Zeltrons are often stereotyped as lazy thrill-seekers, owing to their hedonistic pursuits. Indeed, their homeworld of Zeltros has thrived as a luxury world and "party planet," as much for their own good as for others. Work is an offense on Zeltros, most of it being done by droids and other automated means. If anyone wasn't having a good time on Zeltros, the Zeltrons would certainly know of it, and would do their best to correct it. It is said that Zeltrons tended to look familiar to other people, even if they have never met them.
Zeltron culture is highly influenced by sexuality and pursuit of pleasure in general. A noted HoloNet critic once called Zeltros “the ultimate party experience,” for Zeltrons hold massive celebrations for practically any event. They are extremely promiscuous and are extremely proud of their sexual prowess. They consider the concept of monogamy quaint, but unrealistic.
Zeltron technology is on par with most space-faring worlds. They possess space travel, advanced agricultural and industrial methods, and excellent knowledge of medicine, particularly antibiotics. Zeltron scientists created much of the technology used in the pleasure domes at Hologram Fun World. Zeltron craftspeople are renowned for their erotic sculptures, paintings, and other works of art, which are often some of the raciest pieces in the galaxy.
