Alright after watching Live Action Verison Of Detective Conan i feel that they could of made new mysteries with this. I know it sounds crazy but i loved the live action. Please post what you think of this topic. heart

I really liked the live-action drama. The thing is, it was long (not that that means anything, since there have been long episodes in the anime too), and it led right into the first episode of the anime (which really impressed me).
They did a really good job with the J-Drama, but for various reasons I don't think it would have worked to make a series of them.

Shinichi Kudo... The live action was wonderful, and I wasn't expecting that to happen. I liked the part that it led to the first episode [and you get to see the DBs but no faces. X.x] and Kogoro in this live-action drama really acted and looked like him.
I actually agree with KudoRan that this wouldn't make a good series, especially if they're going to do the real series which has Conan innit, who would be playing him? XDD

I saw the live drama show ...
Its not that cool ... like the anime series ...
Shinichi didnt become Conan ,,,..
he's still a big smart teenager ...
It was like a story before Shinichi shrunk and how Shinichi became famous being a young detective ...

I liked that it was a prequel, and I was impressed at the accuracy of the characters and the costumes

I loved the JDrama.... in all its incredibly cheesy glory. There have been few things that have made me laugh quite *that* much. ^^
On the more serious side of it though, I really do think they did a great job with it. They couldn't have cast a more perfect Sonoko or Kogoro (he made anime-ish expressions I didn't know were possible in real life ;D).
If they did make a series out of it, it would be really neat in my opinion to see the casting of other characters, like after Shinichi is shrunken, Hattori, KID, Ai, etc. I agree, though, with the others who said that it probably wouldn't work all that well. I'm perfectly happy with it being just the one long special.
The only thing that really bugged me is that I thought Shinichi was sorta out of character to an extent. He seemed... I dunno.. kinda mean in parts. =/ Also he totally would NEVER have the nerve to talk about Ran's underwear. Other girl's underwear, sure, but not her's. wink He'd just turn bright red and start stammering. *grin*

just the one.... within the video, it's broken up into segments (I suppose as a normal tv show is).... it's about an hour and a half long, but it's one single case

I have to say that I did enjoy the live drama, and actually paused right before the reveal to make my predictions. I think that KudoRan here would remember that, she sent me the drama. I've forgotten if I was wrong or right... I want to say I was right.
